Would someone read this and comment?
the two rules contradict each other.  If you are getting a AA gift card certificate should you not be able to use it to fly anywhere?
This is the sweeps for baseball games/trips
Comments?
Other than what is in 7 they list no restrictions on the gift card.
3. PRIZE DETAILS: One (1) Grand Prize, consisting of:
One (1) $15,000 MasterCard® gift card, one (1) $10,000 American Airlines gift card, and one (1) baseball gift bag (ARV: $25,300).

7. AIR TRAVEL TERMS. Travel must originate and end at the airport nearest winner’s home that is served by American Airlines or their Airline Associates. Travel is subject to availability and certain other restrictions, which are subject to change in the sole discretion of American Airlines. Winner’s guest must be 18 years of age or older if not a member of winner’s immediate family and will be required to execute and return a liability/publicity release (which must also be signed by such guest’s parent or legal guardian, if minor) prior to travel. Winner and winner’s guest must travel together on the same itinerary, including the same departure date, destination and return date. No stopovers are permitted on tickets issued as a prize; if a stopover occurs, the prize will terminate at the stopover point and full fare will be charged for the remaining segments, including the return, of the trip. Sponsor is not liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of a flight cancellation or flight delay. Schedules subject to change without notice. Other restrictions and blackout dates may apply.

Ever stop to think, and forget to start again?

Not really sure what you are asking, but the AA card can only be used beginning and ending where AA flys. Not all airports are serviced by AA.
I would think the Mastercard could be used for anything.

I am well aware than AA doesn't fly everywhere but for most flights from Kansas City you may have a connecting flight. (LOL it's just the opposite, We're not in Dallas anymore)
so what is their definition of Stopover? technically a stopover is a day or more between (which is what AA told me when I booked flight to London, "if you want to connect in Dallas it must be same day")
No stopovers are permitted on tickets issued as a prize. and it says tickets issued as prize but prize definitions says $10,000 American Airlines gift card.
I don't know of anywhere you can fly in US that would be $5,000. per person even 1st class.
I'm entering anyway but I just think it could be worded better or more clearly defined.
