yeah it looks like david cook and that girl from season two broke up.. kim caldwell? Yeah, I saw that above a few minutes ago. I liked her hair better before she cut her bangs ~ I thought she was a pretty girl. That would have been a hard relationship now I would think with everything he is going through... Last night had me and the my daughter rolling. There were some strange ones for sure.  my daughter is in love already. she has her pick.. can ya guess?... The kid with straight black hair that makes horror movies.. imagine that  Havent found my fav yet. Still too early. |

Bikini girl was pretty good and I loved Simon's face when he saw her. Too early to pick a favorite. Oh and the one guy who sounded like the Green mile character was funny. Great voice but not for singing.

I liked the oil well tapper dude or what ever he was. Cute smile/good voice. Liked the young 16 year old girl that started the group for the senior citzens...
I am hoping that someone grabs my attention though. It is funny that David Cook didn't until he sung 'Hello' last year, so it might take awhile. I liked David Archelta from the beginning last year though.

He was my favorite! The guy that sang bass was so funny... I can't believe David Cook's brother didn't get in, but Jason Castro's did. His voice isn't like Jason's that is for sure. |

His name was Danny. Michael was bawling when he dedicated the ticket to his wife. Unfortunatly, Michael knows that feeling.  We'll be watching and hoping he'll be pushed through. He has a beautiful story and a beautiful voice. Then again, I would rather listen to most of the guys, all the girls sound the same in the first 40 or so. I still can't believe Jennifer hudson was bumped off  The girl who sang "unwritten" -- is that what it's called? -- had a pretty voice but I don't think she has much power. I was thrilled that Cook won last year. He has a great voice and isn't a fake like the other David. I hated the whole "oh gee, wow" nonsense that he was doing. gag. |

Yeah, blonde guys aren't that cute Seriously, when they get the first 100, you get a bunch of headcases and a lot of dropped out. What is sad is a lot of politics also goes into these things. I have a friend who tried out. She's a BIG girl and had bad acne. She has the most beautiful and strong voice. She sings gospel like an angel. but Simon was brutal on her for being a 'beauty in your voice and a beast of a body.' Really crushed her. Many years ago, Michael tried out with Flamer for The Amazing Race. They were accepted. They were going to donate the money to a fund that helps orphans in Ethiopia when they won. But the producers found out they speak 6 languages between them and Michael, of course, has money, contacts in every continent and almost every country and a pilots license. They said he was TOO good for the show and would probably win. Ummmm, hello? Isn't that the point???  |

I guess I should have been more specific .blonde girls. blonde guys are fine there were so many of them last year and none of them had talent. It is a shame that it is so geared towards looks. video really did kill the radio star. And shows like the amazing race want drama! and people you love to hate. Its to bad they wouldnt let them participate it sounds like the money would have gone to good use. |

I agree with you...I really didn't care for Jason Castro very much last year. But his brother? Hot! I'd like to run my hands through his pink hair... Also, the horror-movie guy is quite nice as well. |

I agree with you...I really didn't care for Jason Castro very much last year. But his brother? Hot! I'd like to run my hands through his pink hair... Also, the horror-movie guy is quite nice as well. Gonna have to re~watch this one later. Missed almost all of it. Did get to see the last guy that was taking care of his Mom...awww!!! I am a sucker for a heart-tugging story. Such a sweet boy. I liked the Bohemian Rhapsody guy alright also. Big voice. Will be interested to see how he does in Hollywood.
Tatiana ...ugggghhhh~ that laugh drives me up the wall. I can't get past it. She could have sung like an angel (which she didn't) and I wouldn't have liked her...

Tonight's episode of American Idol took place in both NYC and San Juan, Puerto Rico. There was one guy who stood out to me...(because he was beautiful  )Kenny P. from Pennsylvania. He just may be my Archuleta of this season. |

She must not watch herself on tv at all! I have heard that they may bring back Jamal for the wild card round...I hope so! I love Danny though! seriously she needs to go. I dont know what they were thinking. Can you imagine her reaction if she doesnt get the votes.. she is going to freak out on live tv. And she will not win. I dont care how great her voice is she is to irritating. My daughter was bummed that cody didnt make it through. She is done. she isnt going to watch it anymore |

I don't know about this season. Of course there are some good singers, but usually by this point in the competition there are a couple in particular that I am really starting to back and get excited to vote for and so far nobody is sticking out to me. Hopefully now that hollywood and all that is over with someone will stick out to me. Anybody else feel this way?

im not feeling this season either. I like danny but thats about it. im not sure if they did it like this in the past, I cant remember, but I hate how the voting is going to go. only the top 3 of twelve go through. so that would be 9 and then the judges pick the last 3 wild card? Is it going to be half women and half men like before or just whoever gets voted through? I never liked the half and half. the men were always more talented and didnt get to go through because of the non talented women.
I guess we will find out tonight.
