changing my picks somewhat.. THE BEST Danny~~ he is the best!(hero) Anoop~~ Love, love, love his voice (angel of mine) Alexis~~ the best of the girls. I know that isnt saying much since they were terrible but she should win this hands down. the only girl with a decent voice. (I never loved a man)
The WORSE
Stevie~ omg! what a train wreck that was. It was painful to watch. (you belong with me) Casey~ oh please! the police? she butchered that song. (every little thing she does is magic) Jackie~ it was like it was joke or something. the outfit, the way she was moving and the vocals were just bad. ( a little less conversation)

Based on tonight I think that these will go through ~
Danny Gokey...easily the best tonight I thought... Ricky Braddy ~ I thought he was the second best male ~ sort of surprised me! Alexis Grace ~ the best voice of the girls in my opinion.
As much as I like Michael S ~ I didn't really like his song that well. Same with Brent Keith, I just knew that he had made a mistake when he started 'Hick Town'...I just hate it for him. Even Anoop didn't do that well on his...

Yeah ~ they were terrible! I have to say Tatiana did better than those three...and that ain't saying much. I do really really like Anoop though also. He definately will have the crowd behind him. Casey needed to be tazered...

It should be the top 3 period. not one guy, one girl and then the next highest votes. not fair.

Okay, here is my assessment from last evening's show -- Jackie: I thought she did well...I liked her version of the song she sang. Not too keen on her clothing, however. Ricky Braddy: a very nice performance! Alexis Grace: very nice, bluesy song/vocals. I even like her hair! The girl has soul! Brent Keith: a so-so country performance. Stevie Wright: she wasn't very good at all. I expect her to be voted off soon. Anoop Desai: a very nice performance! He sang a bit sharp throughout his song...which is a bit unusual. Usually, people will sing flat, not sharp. Oh well...it did not really detract from the fact that not only can he sing, but he is also a hottie! Casey Carlson: what can I say? This was the worst performance of the night, I think. All four judges ragged on Casey about her sorry singing. She needs to go first! Michael Sarver: this guy wasn't too good, either. He had pitch problems and was out-of-key. Too bad. Ann Marie Boskovich: I think that the song she sung was too big for her voice, which wasn't strong enough to pull it off well. Steven Fowler: he wasn't that good, either. The song should have been sung as it was meant to be...as a disco song. Steven slowed the tempo down too much; tried to blues it up a bit. Didn't work out. Tatiana Del Toro: this one is a whiner. Even Simon called her a "drama queen". Paula asked her is was crazy! Tatiana's performance was so-so at best. Danny Gokey: a great performance! And he's cute too!

Loved Adam! He was so good ~ he had that little Elvis grin down at the beginning of the song!
I think it will be him, Kai, and Allison. I loved Matt Giraud during Hollywood week, but I though he did terrible tonight!
And Meagan Joy Corkrey little dance got on my nerves so badly. It looked like she was trying to get her underwear out of her crack...I think she is a beautiful girl, but that little 'twist twist' that she was doing was more than I could take...
I hope and pray that it is time for Norman Gentle to move on down the road...

Did you notice that they did away with the parent interviews after fans complained about it online?

Go find Adam...it is worth it! Here is a link to just the singing, but you need to see him! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkS3jzRuoscAlso it wasn't only the fans complaining ~ I read an article yesterday where Paula was complaining that she felt that she wasn't getting enough time to express her feeling and was blaming Kara...I think that is the real reason they cut out the parent interviews http://www.myfoxtwincities.com/dpp/entertainment/Paula_Abdul_OK_Mag_American_Idol_Season_10I don't know how trustworthy the source is, but it is funny that they cut the interviews out the very next week

Okay, here is my take on last night's performances: 1. Adam Lambert -- excellent vocals; awesome performance. Blew folks away. I predict that Adam makes it as part of the Top 3 at least. 2. Norman Gentle -- an interesting performance, complete with a show! I believe this is the first time A.I. has had someone with multiple personalities. Usually there is one person the voters keep around for the entertainment value (think Sanjay), but choosing singers to continue on to next week is different than last year. 3. Matt Giraud -- a "blah" performance. 4. Megan Corkrey -- I loved the song. She sang well, she looked pretty (except for that huge tattoo running down the side of her left arm). She also has a quirky personality. 5. Chris Allen -- this young man is from my local town of Conway, AR. He started out a bit rough, but it improved towards the end of the song. A decent performance. Did I mention that Chris is a hottie? 6. Allison Iraheta -- Wow! Strong voice, very nice performance. A dark horse in this competition. 7. Kai Kalama -- very nice. I was impressed with his performance. The judges all said Kai's song choice was old-fashioned, but I say "so what"? 8. Jasmine Murray -- a mediocre performance at best. 9. Mishavonna Henson -- a very nice performance and song choice. She has a strong voice. Mishavonna would be a very pretty young woman, were it not for her choppers, which are too big for her mouth. This sort of gives her a bit of a "horse mouth". 10. Matt Breitzke -- like his smooth voice. A fair performance, but he slowed the song down too much from the original song version. He also showed no humility and came off as a bit full of himself. 11. Jessica Langseth -- I was disappointed with her song performance. I love Kim Carne's original version "Bette Davis Eyes"; Jessica just didn't have that "snap" that the original song has. It seemed almost like easy listening music. 12. Jeanine Vailes -- not the best performance. I predict that Adam, Allison, and Chris Allen will continue on to the next week.

I predict that Adam, Allison, and Chris Allen will continue on to the next week. Hells Bells! Did I not predict this outcome? Huh? Yes? Who's bad? Who da man? Well, young Chris from Conway, AR has lots and lots of local fans here.

You did an excellent job! He does have a good voice and I do like him, I just really like Kai also. I am really hoping that Kai will be one of the ones that comes back on the wildcard show as well! I figure it will be him, miss twist twist, and Matt Giraud back from tonights group.
I don't remember anyone but one or two from next weeks group. Hope they are a talented group!

Okay, here is my recap of last night's American Idol: 1) Von Smith: very nice performance! Sweet-looking guy. 2) Taylor V: Rough start; mediocre performance. 3) Alex W-T: Interesting performance; a unique take on this song. His crazy antics on stage was funny. Oh, and he's a hottie as well. 4) Arianna A: Good performance, a bit pitchy in spots; the song was too big for her, as it was an Abba song. Abba is a powerhouse group that singers don't usually touch. 5) Ju'Not J: he did a good job, had soft vocals...and had a different take on the song. 6) Kristen M: loved her performance! Good vocals. That dress she had on was RED...nearly burned out my corneas. 7) Nathanial M: nice dance version of the song; he was fun, interesting, flamboyant...and he's cute too...despite all the piercings. 8) Felicia B: Excellent job! Strong voice. Pretty woman. 9) Scott M: Good job; nice voice. He sang "Mandolin Rain", which is a beautiful song. This guy is blind, and plays piano as well...although not last night. 10) Kendall B: country singer; bubbly personality. Her song was pitchy in places, but she was nicely dressed. 11) Jorge Nunez: Outstanding! Superb! Awesome rendition of Elton John's "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me". A very good-looking, genuine guy, with smoldering deep, dark eyes...the kind one could fall into and get lost in. When he cried after the performance, he almost made me cry. 12) Lil R: Excellent performance! Awesome! She is da bomb. Last night, there was just too many really good, talented singers. I could not choose only (3), and I've listed my favorites below: Von Smith Felicia B. Scott M. Jorge Nunez Lil R. Any of these five could easily move on. We'll see what happens tonight.

I think this is what will happen tonight...I think Scott is a lock for the highest mens vote. I don't think he did the best job, but I think people just love him. I think Jorge was the best of the lot of men last night and should be picked.
Lil will be the top female vote getter. She is a power house!
So that leaves what I think will be the next top vote getter...I think it will be Felicia. She did a really really good job also.
I was really surprised with this group last night...wasn't expecting much from any of them but Lil and Von.
IF by some shot Scott isn't top vote getter, then it could be possibly Jorge, Lil, and Scott...but I'm still going with my first scenario.
I really like Von and Ju'Not as well and think they will be back as well as Kristen M in the Wildcard round.
Did you notice that Nathanial had moments in that song where he sounded like Cher? There were certain times that his phrasing and even sound reminded me of her. He has a good voice and seems like a sweet boy...I just don't think he will go any further though and I hate it after hearing his story.

Well...it seems that Jorge, Scott, and Lil took the three open seats and moved on to next week. And the wildcard folks were, for the most part, good choices too. However, I just cannot believe that the judges chose that drama queen Tatiana as a wild card choice. Maybe she was chosen for this season's entertainment value. And I don't think Jasmine should have been picked as a wild card either...grrr. I'm glad that Ayoop got chosen; also Megan...quirky Megan. Oh, and I didn't really find Simon's rude comments towards Nathaniel very amusing. This was after Nathanial had finished singing his song, when Simon had to open his big mouth. There was no point in making that comment, as regards to the song choice Nathanial chose to sing.

Here is my recap of last night's American Idol show. The night was all about Micheal Jackson songs...all the contestants had to sing one. Lil Rounds: sang "The Way You Make Me Feel"; a very good performance. She put a bluesy spin on the song. Scott MacIntyre: sang "Keep the Faith"; a good job. Points for playing the piano while singing. Danny Gokey: sang "PYT"; a very good job! He rocked the song. Michael Sarver: sang "Your'e Not Alone"; a good job, but not the best performance, IMHO. Jasmine Murray: sang "I'll Be There"; a good job; pretty song. Her dress was hideous. Kris Allen: sang "Remember The Time"; a decent performance, but not his best. He played guitar, which was nice, but not for that song. Allison Iraheta: sang "Give It To Me"; a rocker babe -- great job! Black leather boots and dyed maroon-red hair...I like the look. Anoop Desai: sang "Beat It"; I thought it an excellent performance...a great job, considering the song is such a powerhouse hit from Michael Jackson. The judges, however, didn't like Anoop's song choice. Jorge Nunez: sang "Never Can Say Goodbye" (from the Jackson 5); a good performance, though I didn't like his song choice. I'd really like to hear him sing a song in his native language. Megan Joy Corkrey: sang "Rockin' Robin" (from the Jackson 5); a nice performance; I liked the song version, although it was a bit slow in tempo. This is Tattoo Girl...with the tattoo running down her right arm. Adam Lambert: sang "Black or White"; he da bomb tonight! Awesome performance...OMG was perfect. He rocked the house. He was so professional on stage and he was flawless. He has devilish good looks, so he surely must be Satan himself...howwlll! Matt Giraud: sang "Human Nature"; great job. It started a bit rough, but it got better. I liked the sustained falsetto he used toward the end of the song...which just shows his great vocal range. Alexis Grace: sang "Dirty Diana"; very good performance! A great song choice; sexy, naughty. This pink and blond-haired girl rocked. Two people are going home on Wednesday's show (which is tonight, btw). After much consideration, I believe the two going home are: Michael Sarver Megan Joy Corkrey

I thought that Jasmine and Megan were going home. I was 1 for 2. Michael's fanbase is to large for him to go home yet. I was surprised that Anoop was in the bottom, but his performance was weak compared to his usual.
I LOVED Danny...of course ~ lol! I don't think he can do anything wrong for me.
Adam is really talented. And he reminds me of Elvis. Look at the grin and through the eyes...ELVIS!
I happened to love Kris version the other night. I liked guitar and all...
So far the only song I have downloaded though is PYT from Danny. By this time last year I had already downloaded several by David Cook, David A, and Checkizie...
Love Alison...she is the best for the girls!
