Hi! Thanks for responding. Nice to meet you. I live over on the Eastside. Used to live over by 1st and Pastime which I think is considered midtown. Loved the house I was living in over there and always a lot of people out and about walking.
Just started sweeping a little over a month ago. Have just won a few little instant wins so far. It seems like a great hobby but can be a little overwhelming with all the sweepstakes there are to enter. I have some set up in roboform and have set up categories in Sweepstakes plus to kind of prioritize my entries. My latest thing is making sure I am entering all the sweeps that have lots of prizes so that I have better odds (found a listing for these on another site.)
Any interest in forming a group of Tucson sweepers to meet and just talk sweeps? It is a fun hobby but I find that my family and friends since they are not sweeping don't really have an interest in the topic. I myself would be interested in belonging to a group to discuss sweeps. I have a lot going on right now. My dad just passed away last month and so we are dealing with all that goes along with that. November and December are going to be pretty busy for me with the holidays, family visiting at different times, and possible visits to family members. I was thinking perhaps starting a monthly get together in January. This will give us time to find some other sweepers and work out the logistics as far as time and place to meet. Perhaps we can keep this thread active and get some other Tucson sweepers interested.
As far as meeting I can be very flexible. Right now going to be trying to set up a business from home and caring for my mother. Thoughts on meeting would be somewhere inexpensive like McDonalds, Denny's or even get together picnic at the park if there are sweepers who can't get away without kids plus we are certainly due for some lovely weather. Love to hear your thoughts and from others in the area as well.
