Lilygaze - I signed up and voted all 7s for you! Hope it helps!! I know exactly how you feel (Amyshulk is talking about me). It stinks when you put thought and work into an entry, and someone comes along and cheats you out of a win with an entry that is obviously no effort at all.
Contests where people can down vote you are the worst!!
Don't let it get to you though. Those things have a way of coming back on them triplefold. Maybe not now, but eventually. I have been voting for people in the forum for awhile now, and have seen it happen to so many people, so you are in good company.
Stick to your guns, keep your integrity, and don't let the dirty rotten cheaters get to ya!
I have had it happen more than once that just when I get so discouraged that I start neglecting my sweeps, I win a couple of things in a row!
Try going through the expiring sweeps and entering stuff the day before or the day that it ends. Particularly blog giveaways and review sites. I have had a number of wins doing that. You might be surprised how the scales of fortune tip in your favor.
