wondering if your name is on a winners list? Its easy to find out just set up a Google alert that will email you anytime the search terms you enter are posted online. For example~"Jane doe"+ IL + winner.. when that name and state is posted on a winners list you will be notified. http://www.google.com/alerts set it for comprehensive.. |

 Ir's really great if you have a not so common last name. Since mine is Murphy I get google alerts everytime Papa Murphy runs a special!

For instance:

Been doing this and on some family members to see if they are in the news for anything. I never got a winners google on myself tho as a winner on anything so maybe adding winner and state will help. I have been bookmarking contest that say check back for winners as I do not think those appear as I have won from Womans Day and never got an email alert for it. Sometimes I think if it is embedded it will not find it but maybe adding winner will help. Will it still pull up if the list says First name and then last initial or should I add that also as an alert?

I tried to enter my info and since I use roboform (the free one) I can just use that search bar in the same manner and it worked too. It showed 5 wins that I had posted as wanting to sell or trade w/the links from S.A. not sure if that is exactly the same thing...

If you put your name in quotes it shouldn't send you alerts for Papa Murphy unless your first name is Papa. LOL. Type info as: "Jane Doe" + OH + winner instead of Jane Doe + OH + winner Hope this helps! |
