whew!!!!! 1 hr later and sizing two different aspects (vert. and hor.) to exactly 95x120 (several dozen times) and hosting from Photbucket, I finally got a pic that didn't look like a "Silly-Putty" copy from the color Sunday Comics! And even now it is majorly pixelated.  I couldn't bear looking like a Dali watch! All good things come to him/her who waits. (at least until the bugs {cockroaches, i hear} here get worked out  ) ADPENDIUM: BAD JOKES???? LOL! where's my flame thrower????? Pmeek lend me your enforcer! |

Hi, I have a real silly avaitor for me right now because for some reason it won't use any out of my pics files, it keeps telling me they are not writtable, , I go to profile edit and click on browse, them click on the pic I want out of my files of pics and open it, then click change profile and no matter what pic I pick out it tells me it can not be file cannot be written, even the avator I just took off and ones I have used lots of times. any ideas, please make it real simple, my computer knowledge is very very limited. thank you for any help.

Well I got it, thanks to allot of hard work fromn tharedhead, she is a pretty good egg, just can't say that to much or she might demand payment in hard labor or chocolate or stamps to send out all her sweeps, or maybe hours of work filling out sweeps for her, I better be quite and leave town for awhile. lol lol

The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved.

your not doing anything wrong http://www.sweepsadvantage.com/smf/avatar-problems-t50384.0.html I have been wanting to change mine also.. I know if you go to photobucket instead of trying to upload from your saved pics it does work.. sometimes. but it can be blurry like mine. not sure what to do. |
