Has anyone purchased the 8.0 version of AVG , $54.99 for I year? I tried the trial version for 30 days and bought it Sat. by credit card. The LIC. # they e-mailed to me did not activate
the download, says invalid LIC. #. Does the trial version need to be uninstalled?
Does AVG have a phone number to call? Should I call my credit card company soon?

I had AVG 7.5 and I just up graded to AVG 8.0. It tells you to uninstall any other verisons that you have, but the download usually does that for you. Did you try and copy and paste the license number? Go to this site: http://www.grisoft.com/ww.faq.num-1396#faq_1396
It's a great program, I would go to the above site and if that don't work there is a customer service link on that page too.
