Looking back at the history of this sweep, Bay's Toast, the sponsor runs contests from January 1st to December 31st.  From the last rules:

Drawing:
Each contest period runs Friday to Friday for one week and closes at 5:00 p.m., C.S.T. Each Monday following the close of the previous contest period, we'll randomly select one (1) Winner from all eligible, correctly answered entries received the previous Friday. Decisions of judges are final in all matters relating to this sweepstakes. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of entries received during the entry period. Sweepstakes ends December 31, 2008. Within one week after each drawing, winners will receive e-mail notification of their selection.

The sweep was pulled because the end date was reached.  It appears that the sweep is ongoing, but the current Rules still have the 2008 end date.  Here are the sweep and Rules links:

I've kept this in my weekly folder in Roboform without an end date for some years now.  The questions and answers are still updated weekly.  So, they must have just overlooked changing the year in the rules.

They do change the end date..but usually it takes awhile..LOL..I did get a reply from them saying they will look into it..but until then..keep it as no end date as Li' does...same with Ricks Trivia..that date was August 2008 I believe..but you can still play , I think somebody wrote me about it the other week..
