Per email, and this is the first the have posted in at least three months if not longer.
Greetings, everyone! Our winners newsletters got stalled again for a while
due to yet more mail server problems. It affected our forums too, as you
probably noticed! We have just upgraded the network the servers were on
and things seem stable again. I'm not taking any chances though
I'm
going to start sending out the sweepstakes newsletters in rapid succession
to catch us up, just in case the mail server starts to get flaky again. I
definitely want to catch us up - but I don't want to ever send newsletters
if the mail server is flaky. It would be very unfair if the winner had
waited patiently but then didn't get the winner newsletter because of mail
server problems.
So we're on July '05 right now - I'll send August '05 next week and plow
forward through them until we are fully caught up. I really appreciate
everybody's patience as we have struggled with these mail server issues!
In the meantime, please visit our forums and say hi to your favorite
editors in there. It's been a little rough on them with the forums going
up and down
We even have a March Madness contest running in the
Basketball Forum, for a $50 Amazon Gift Certificate, which is over as soon
as the March Madness is. You have to enter by Thursday!
If you have any messages pending with me about a sweepstakes, please email me again. Our mail server was gobbling up email occasionally for the past 2 months, which is why we've held off on doing any important mailings. I believe I have gotten it back under control.
