 I haven't won a single thing yet. Not even a t-shirt, a Cd nothing. All I get is a thanks for playing, try again tomorrow. Then I look at all the posts of people winning these instant wins and daily's. What are you people doing differently to win? What kind of computer are ya using?? I've never seen so many post of people winning, and good things at that and sometimes twice or three time in one day. I can't even win a free cup of coffee. WTH?? Am I doing something wrong. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to win too!!

ok, first ya will win. It just may take some time. Try entering the instants at different times of the day. The instants are all about timing. The dailies and 1x could take months to notify you of a win. To win a lot you have to enter a lot. use robo, enter everyday and just be persistent. I hope ya have a great win soon.

Claim2fame-I love the title of your thread  I too have yet to win anything sunstantial. Hang in there! It'll happen! Like 3mnkids1 said, be persistent, consistent, and patient. And remember, for a lot of the instants you may not have won and instant, but you still receive an entry for the grand prize for everyday you play. That is the reason why the instants are not discouraging to me. I still gain an entry for each day I play to go towards the grand prize. Extra entires to win something big! |

Winning prizes is just not like it use to be, many more sweepers now than before and less prizes.
Be persistant and change your entering times. Good luck to you!

 Thanks to you all who have replied with encouraging words and better ways to increase my chances. I will try the robo thing you mentioned 3mnkids1. I guess all i can do is keep trying. But it does get discouraging when you see others bragging they won. I can't to brag!! LOL! Thanks everyone and good luck at winning. I will be sure to let you guys know when I have actually won something. I'm going to be posting , the date, the time and exactly what I won. So look for my posting thread under winners. HOpe to see you guys name there too.

claim2fame.... I started "sweeping" in May 2006...it took me awhile to win anything, then in July I won an IW, a digital camera. That year, I won $1,500.00 in prizes, most of it coming from Instant Wins.  Then, in 2007, I won a 7 days/6 nights in Paris, France and a laptop that I use all the time now. So far in 2008, I have won 2 instant win gift cards and a digital camera (another one!!!) and a printer. Few win right off the bat - it took me 4-6 MONTHS of daily entering {150+ IW's/dailies/etc} to win... Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win. If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient. The sweepers credo? Enter and forget it. Always be happy for those that win - even when they win "your" prize - and be positive you will win. Reminding myself of the sweepers credo is how I keep my positive attitude, and my sanity. I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!! I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!! It also took me a while to win , I was doubting myself, instant wins are boring if you dont win anything but I learned you have to constantly stick with it, my first it make take a while instant was very small but when I saw the congratulations screen I stared at it for a while I was so shocked I almost fell out of the chair. Printed it out and hung on to it for the longest, You will start winning it make take a while, dont forget let us know when you do, its nice for others to congratulate you.
