I often have to reload the capchas a few times before I get one that is readable.  Today, on about the tenth try, I got one that was readable.  In fact, the word was r-e-a-d-a-b-l-e.  It was plain white letters on a plain black background.  No waves, squiggles, uc/lc, shading, nothing -- just plain.  Now that made me laugh!

Purdy funny.....I sometimes have problems with the fancy ones with squiggles too. One contest, now long done....had captchas that I'd swear I put in right, but they'd ask again and again to redo. ugh!
