I'm avoiding wheat (I'm allergic to it, not a celiac) to help try to get my asthma more under control. I just tried these amazing cookies...Pamela's Organic Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chunk (drool). I had no idea how much the flavor of the wheat hid the flavor of the chocolate! Pamela's cookies are rice based and the chocolate flavor totally comes through. Plus they have healthy fats and don't give me dumping. These are like, total chocolate wow! Pamela's also has a Organic Espresso Chocolate Chunk Cookies which look interesting....if you've never tried a rice based cookie before they do have a different texture. One plus if you tend to be a person who can eat a whole bag of cookies at a sitting is that rice based cookies really fill you up-you feel like you've actually eaten something, so you can't just inhale them like you can Chipsahoy...
