Well... come to find out that the winner wasn't me! Just someone from my city with the same first name and last inital.
So I feel really silly! Never ran into another Victoria C. from Alexandria on a winners list before...
I e-mailed
sweepstakes@circuitcity.com, and I have to tell you all, the man who handles their sweeps is very, very nice, and really on the ball! He responded almost immediately, and asked for my phone number to call and talk about it. He then called almost immediately after I sent the e-mail!
He was very friendly and polite, and even apologized although he had no reason to. I of course told him that and apologized for taking up his time.
So, for future reference, if you ever win one of these sweeps, you should get a congrats e-mail that asks for your name and phone number to confirm shipping info. In that e-mail should be all their contact info as well.
P.S. - Tommy - the circuit city sweeps guy - said that they are planning some really big & cool prize sweeps coming up soon, the $1500 GC one going on now is just the start!
