I have two questions (at least for now):

1. In Instant Wins, does it make any difference if you click "Click Here" instead of playing the game? Do you win more or less (or not at all)?

2. When you are given a multiple choice question of how you heard about the game, and you are given a choice between "sweepstakes" and other things, do you choose "sweepstakes" or another choice (honestly, of course)? Does the "sweepstakes" choice give you "an edge" or does it hurt you? Does the "sweepstakes" choice have any advantage to Sweepstake Advantage?

I guess that's more than two questions :!:

It's all random and based on time of entry.  As far as the click here option, I always play the game the first time, just to see if it is fun.  If it is not something that interests me, I will, from that point click the click here button.  I have won several times using it.

As far as the where did you hear it from question, I don't think it matters.  Sometimes I click friend, other times I click sweeps site.  If they ask for a sweeps site name, I always put SA because they may list the sweep here in the future and provide SA with some referral income.

That's just my 2 cents.   Smile

ktshome - good questions - and Wolfie answered them, but I have this to add:

Once you are logged in, and have a "Click here" link? It's already decided if you are a winner or not, so clicking/not clicking makes no difference.

EXCEPT - it changes your timing for the following sweeps.

BUT - since you have absolutely NO control anyway, why not play the way that works for you?

I usually do as Wolfie says - but then again, I'm usually in a hurry, trying to get 150+ sweeps entered, so I sometimes never even see/play the games - once I see that link...  :P

And the "Where did you hear about us"? Please answer honestly, so they can get good results for their market research - it's so little to ask of us, after all  8)

IW's that have a "click here if you can't see the game" link are predetermined when you log in - the game is just for fun.  Smile

"No Purchase Required"

means they can't require you to buy THEIR product/service, not that it's completely free to enter. For more info, check out:

TABBING

When you have a sweeps that doesn't render properly {submit won't work/page is cut off/etc} try tabbing - put your cursor into one of the fields {email/address/phone} and hit tab to go through all the fields, and it will *usually* get a dead submit button to enable {light up and work} and will bring you to the end of the form below where it was "cut off" so you can then finish filling out the form/get to the submit button.

That is a VERY resource intensive sweeps, where you need to log in, after which you are taken to a new window, so you need to make sure you don't have a pop-up blocker blocking that page.

Also, you may need to update - see this thread:

When I am entering the new sweepstakes, after clicking on the new sweepstakes for the day, the sweepstakes I have
entered, (example; facebook, or 24 hour) always turns green after clicking on, then I know I have entered them. Now
it is not turning green
, sometimes I fall behind and then catch up. It makes it so much easier when my sweepstakes that I have clicked on are highlighted green.  Then I know where I have left off.   What can I do to remedy this problem?
I agree with arrtup3. That only happens to me when I clear my cookies and/or history. You said "at a glance I new where I left off before", So are you leaving, coming back, and finding the listing titles are no longer green?

If that's the case then you have your browser options set to "never remember history". If you're using FireFox click on "tools" in your menu bar at the top of your FireFox browser. Choose "options" then click the "privacy" tab. You should now see a drop down box. Choose "Remember history" in that drop down box then click "Ok".

If you're using Internet Explorer open your browser to any page and click " Alt + X". In the box that opens choose "Internet options". In the next box that pops up un-check the box that says "Delete browsing history on exit". You may also want to click "settings" right beside that and at the bottom of the next box that pops up increase the number of "Days to keep pages in history" to perhaps 2 or 3. When all done click "ok" and "apply".

Whatever happened to "per person, per email, per day"?  The "1 person" confuses me?  Does this mean that more than one family member in a household can't enter? TU!

I guess we didn't really answer it here?

I'm really not totally clear on what you are seeing  scratch

I look for prize limits and if it says 1pphh, I treat it as a 1x phh type.

If they state 1x per address {meaning physical address} it's just a different way of saying per hh

Like this rozzie:

Limit one entry per email address or per person per day.

Since people have multiple addys, they are covering their bases.

In the dailys, for instance, you list GACTV's limit as "one per person" and nothing else.  Are we to assume that it means "per email, too?  I do understand the "per hhd".  TU!

So you are asking about SA and how it lists, not a specific sweeps?

OK - I see 2 GACTV sweeps. 1 is a daily, and 1 is a 1x. Both say:

| Limit : 1 Per Person |

That's what the editor/sponsor who submitted the saw in the rules what they listed as the limit, and it means the same thing for both sweeps - that you may enter once. Either once total for the 1x, or a day for the daily.

As I said, I look to the rules if I am uncertain - like if an IW is listed but no limits on prizes are noted. If it says 1pphh, then only I will enter it, JIC they *really* mean for it to be a phh sweeps.

Otherwise, I'd contact the sponsor, since SA only lists them.  sunny

Just a query with regard to sweepstakes .... when a holiday prize package has for example a trip for 2 people does it mean that my 2yr old son that would naturally come along with us on any prize holiday would be automatically included?  I know it's probably a basic question but looking at the rules of various  sweepstakes it doesn't make it clear and wouldn't want to enter a contest i couldn't use.

thanks in advance

If you must purchase a full freight ticket for a 2 year old, they do count as your guest. If that's not the norm {I haven't traveled in years} you'd have to take it up with the sponsor after you won to see if you could pay their way so they could be included.

Clear as mud, right?  crazy tongue whistle laughing
