I wasn't sure where to post this so I'll apologize up front if this is the wrong place.

Can I cook chicken and pork chops, together, in the crock pot?

Any help would be appreciated.   sleepy

sunny As long as you have room in the crockpot to put the lid on. Chicken and pork go good together. I sometimes put the two together in the crockpot until the meat all falls apart, then use the mixed up meat for burritos or enchiladas. Yummy, makes me hungry just thinking about it!

Sure you can and it will taste great . If you don't want the meat to fall apart completely you might have to take the chicken out earlier.

I loveeeeeeeee crockpot cooking... Over the weekend I went out and bought a whole chicken, cleaned it, stuffed it with chopped green apples (sprinkled with cinnamon), onions, and garlic, popped open a can of coke and poured that on top, put the lid on and cooked it for about 6 hours...........

Boy was it yummy with those mashed potatoes and corn on the cob.......mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I'm ALL ABOUT the crock pot.  Mine is going as we speak!  (or as we type)  I am into a no maintenance life style here lately.  Anything that requires less work from me - I'm on it.  I'm having chicken and dumplings tonight.  You don't put the dumplings in until right at the end.  Yummy
