THIS IS FOR YOUR ATTENTION.

We wish to notify you again that you were listed as a beneficiary to the
total sum of £15,600,000.00GBP (Fifteen million Six hundred thousand
britishpounds) in the codicil and last testament of the deceased. (Name
now withheld since this is our second letter to you).We contacted you
because you bear the surname identity and therefore can present you as the
beneficiary to the inheritance.

We therefore reckoned that you can receive these funds as you are
qualified by your name identity. All the legal papers will be processed in
your acceptance. You are entitle to 50% of this money while i will also
take 50%

Get back to me with the following contact mail address:
stephen4scott@yahoo.dk

Yours faithfully,

Stephen Scott

THIS irritated me as I did just lose my father.  I replied:

Hi Stephen,

Is this in regards to my dad's estate?  He died three weeks ago.  I didn't know he had that much money?  Did he really secret some money away for us? Have you contacted my sisters too?  It does seem like he would be smart enought to secret some of those funds in off-shore accounts.

The whole death was so hard on all of us.  My mom was visiting my little sister in SC, and couldn't get a hold of him.  After a few days, she finally sent our family pastor over and he was found collapsed at the side of his bed.

We haven't even gotten the autopsy results back yet.  Do I need those to claim these funds?  The life insurance companies have said they need they final death certificate before those are released.  We have the preliminary death certificate, if that will work?

It would be nice if I could give my mom some proceeds from this fund as soon as possible just to pay for the funeral costs.  It would only be about $10,000 or so that we would need immediately.  The rest could wait for whatever paperwork, etc. we have to go through.

Thank you for your concern and kindness in my family's time of sorrow,

Tinya

That is almost ALL true, except for the part about not being able to cover the funeral expenses.  I hope he responds and that I get a check to deposit and wire him back so I can turn it over to the authorities!

Thank you for the condolences, Tiff.

Well, no response yet, but I threw "Dick" into the mix.  lol

Hi Stephen (is it ok if I call you Stevie?? .. that was my childhood friend's name),

Haven't heard from you but I did receive another E-mail from "Richard" ( I hope it is ok to call him "Dick", that was my dad's farmhand's name) regarding my inheritance.  Wasn't sure if you had passed me on to a colleague of yours or not, or maybe my Dad had more than one of these off-shore accounts??  Entirely possible since he went on so many cruises and travels!

Anyway let me know if I should correspond with Dick from now on or if you are the person assigned to my inheritance!

I know it is the weekend and you are probably involved in your usual weekend activities, but it is kind of pressing that we get the $10,000 to cover the funeral expenses.   Guess I will wait til monday and see if I hear from you.  Otherwise I will go ahead and contact Dick.  He seems nice too, but it is nice to just have one point of contact with all the other stuff we have to do!

Thanks,
Tinya

Thanks ... and I was starting to enjoy it, I had all our future correspondence planned out in my head.

I think Stevie took his toys and went to play in someone else's sandbox.  Bummer :(

Sick of the scammers? Check out this informative site:

http://www.419eater.com/

Does someone want you pay you to cash cheques and send them the money?
Met a new friend/penpal on a friendship/dating site who's asking you for money?
Has a dying person contacted you wanting your help to give his money to charity?
Have you sold an item and are asked to accept a payment larger than the item amount?

IT'S A SCAM!

Welcome to the world of Scambaiting!

Has a dying person contacted you wanting your help to give his money to charity?
Have you sold an item and are asked to accept a payment larger than the item amount?

IT'S A SCAM!

Don't fall for common scams like this - fight them!

So what is scambaiting? Well, put simply, you enter into a dialogue with scammers, simply to waste their time and resources. Whilst you are doing this, you will be helping to keep the scammers away from real potential victims and screwing around with the minds of deserving thieves.

It doesn't matter if you are new to this sport or a hardened veteran; if you are wasting the time of a scammer, or frustrating them in any way well that's good enough for us, and we would welcome you to join with our now very large community.

Although this site concentrates mainly on the Nigerian 419 scam, we are happy to deal with other types of scams if and when the opportunity arises. We also have a large team of experts dedicated to the removal and closure of fake scammer banks and sites.

Even if you are a newcomer, much fun can be had and at the same time you will be doing a public service. If you are new to this game and need to know what scambaiting is all about, please click on the 419 FAQ link at the top of the page. See also Baiting Tips for information on getting started on this great cyber-sport

We encourage everyone to contribute to this site and the good cause of scambaiting by joining in the fun on the FORUM where you can meet new friends and seek expert help, tips and advice on anti-scamming. User participation is absolutely encouraged. Please help us to raise awareness the world over!

Do not be fooled into thinking scammers operate from a specific part of the world. Advance fee fraud scammers are a world-wide menace, and they operate from every continent. These scammers range from small one-man-band criminals scamming a few thousand dollars a year, to highly organised groups raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars a month

No matter what a person’s motivation for answering a 419 letter nobody deserves to be put through the kind of hell that these scum have waiting for their victims. And no scammer deserves to profit from lying and stealing.

That is why we have no problem with baiting. Every scammer baited, every lad who poses with a sign for a baiter, every false form filled in, every fake bank taken down means that less victims are scammed. We keep the scammers busy with ‘safe’ targets. We occupy them and waste their time. Hopefully some will decide it’s not worth it and get an honest job. Others may get caught in a sting.

My Dad just got a (snail mail) notice from a local medicare supply place telling him that medicare now covers some sort of pump device for erectile dysfunction. They had an 800 number. I can't post the message I left here, while I used no actual obscenities, it was kind of graphic cussing
My Dad has been dead since May.
Sorry about your Dad.

Ok guys, I have to tell you after reading all this I just HAD to get in on it. I chose one lucky scammer today and sent a reply. This poor guy is DYING in a few weeks according to his doc and he wants to send me 40% of his fortune. Anyway my reply:

I'm so sorry. You are DYING any day now? HOW SAD!! It truly brings tears to my eyes! I would not be able to handle knowing that. You must be TERRIFIED! And I am in SHOCK that your worthless family refuses to help you. I agree they should be left out of your will. They should  be punished for neglecting you! Oh how do you stand it? I could not. You write that you would like to send me 40% of your fortune. How generous of you! No one has ever been that nice to me. You are a good man. But I must tell you,  I feel so unworthy to receive such a large sum from someone on his death bed. You must be in horrible pain! May God in Heaven and his angels watch over you. Have you thought about giving some of your fortune to charity? There are starving children and neglected pets that would greatly benefit from that. And you could also give yourself a grand going away party. I mean, why waste a good reason to celebrate??? Good-bye

I am just touched enough in the head (marriage and kids will do that to a person) that I will make them rethink there scamming days. I guess crazy will work for me after all, I have to call mom and tell her I found my purpose. LOL.  laughing

got me a scammer today, heres what i wrote to them, let me know what ya think.

Not now not ever will i nor any one else in my family or any one I know ever
fall for this scam, you are a low life piece of , well you know what you are
and you must think that I am an idiot. Well, you are the idiots thinking
that people actuall fall for this. You will not get my infomation from me
ever and if you ever do, I promise you that I will make it my lifes work to
hunt you down like the dog that you are and make you suffer like you make
the people whose identity you steal have suffered. You need to go out and
get a real job like the rest of the hard working people of the world have
to. If you worked as hard at a real job as you do trying to defraud people ,
you could really make something of yourself. Now I think you should move on
for your own safety you nasty piece of vermin

LMFAO!!  laughing
Love it!!  laughing

Let there be the day the potential victims lay into one of these nutsacs, physically!  I'm talking someone who has the money at their disposal to hunt down a slew of scammers and go all Al Pacino("Say hello to my little friend")on their asses  headbang

Think about the grannies and grampies who fall for this and get taken to the cleaners.  My friend's granny got taken for $10K.  They (the scammers)had her move in with them.  It was a freaking nightmare!!  It'd be worth seeing them having to wear a colostomy bag at the very least...or slowly castrated  cussing  For the female scammers, I'd say some vigilante plastic surgery would suffice  laughing

Tip for messing with scammers: most of these people come from countries where people are VERY superstitious. You can really scare the nonsense out of them with some artful words and pictures... I get scary pics off of photobucket and pretend to be a witch who is very annoyed with their scamming...  laughing

Threatening to curse them into infertility or impotence works very well...  whistle
