I swear I never pay full price for anything anymore. It all began with coupons in the '80s for me then when priceline came out that was like the pinnacle of discounts for me. I have stayed at the Wynn in Las Vegas for 50$, I have gotten deals for dinner and a Broadway show. I'm always entering sweeps because nothing beats free. We have 4 incomes(hubby and I both have 2 jobs) and I don't bargain shop as I should.  I do for the most part on groceries but that's about it.  I like having stuff now!

I try to shop for bargains but, I'm not always able to. I'm limited on getting coupons and they don't accept printed coupons here. Coupons help a lot when I have them. I do hit the clearance racks/shelves though.

Michael, Mother's friend, Lina made no bones telling stores what she thought of their prices    She didn't understand that going up to the sales clerk and cussing them in mandarin wasn't going to get her anything or anywhere here in America LOL

Lina is a feisty little thing.  We were once at a Hallmark store buying Mother some trinkets and candles and Lina was sighing, cussing, and shaking her head.  The older store clerk came over and asked her what seemed to be her problem.  Lina laughed and looked at me and then politely said something insulting in mandarin to the clerk.  Then she said, in english, "I break evvyting in store, that make you mad, huh?" and made some glass-shattering noises and gestures with her hands and mouth    I was 18, and that was one of my first experiences with cranky asian women.  Man, I miss her!!
