I wish I had a room. I have told my husband if we ever win the lottery and buy a big house im having a smaller house built in back that no one goes in but me.  laughing It will always be clean, it will always smell nice. ahhhh!!! a girl can dream cant she.  I would love one room that was off limits.

All the rooms in my house are used except for the dinning room. The only use the dinning room gets is walking to get into the kitchen.  laughing

For some reason, we NEVER use our living room.  If we watch TV, it's in my bedroom (kids included).  It could be because the living is like a dungeon - dark and musty with old wood paneling and few windows.  Yuck.  The house we live in is ancient and I can't wait to move elsewhere!

I can remember moving into this house and making the statement that we would never "fill it up" now we have filled every nook and cranny and have bought the older house next door to store our yard sale stuff ~ not to mention fixing up our basement and two outside buildings.  We are "packrats" in every sense of the word!!  We live in every room and it really looks like it.

We have started our annual "We can't put the Christmas Tree up until we can see the floor" trash drive.  So the trash man is hating me about now error laughing

I am remodeling my master bedroom, so I have been sleeping in the den/living room for over a year now... laughing so, I keep that room closed off from the rest of the house.  I also have a small guest room and another room (which has become my primary "pack rat" storage room...both rooms I keep closed off.  So, I actually inhabit the den, the kitchen and the dining room/home office areas...all of which are open space designed so that parts of each room can be seen from one of the others.

I wish I had a bigger house. I have no rooms that are "off limit" but, the kids don't play in the laundry room.

We've lived in this house for 3+ years now and still have no furniture in the living room.

It recently was the home of lots of empty cardboard boxes until I broke them down for recycling....

Its not that the room is off limits, there just isn't a reason to go in the room. I figure maybe I can fill the room with furniture and a piano I win in sweepstakes. Of course, the room is still empty.... Smile  The Bo-flex is in the basement though. Not really right for a living room.
