It has been two years since I've won anything!  TWO YEARS!   I work full-time so my sweeps time is limited.  Has any one else ever had a long dry spell?   cry

I have a contract labor job which pays very very little, but takes very little time and I work from home so I pretty much sweep full time. I feel like I AM A DRY SPELL! I've been sweeping hundredS of entries everyday obsesssively for about 9 years. I win tiny things which DOES help some (coupons and such) but I've become increasingly desperate for a large win such as cash (greater than 25$) or a vehicle of ANY kind! I totally feel your paid. I figure all those other people winning the big stuff must need it much worse than I do...I keep sweepin and keep the faith that some day.... sunny

It sometimes takes a While to Win and Sometimes you win right then you may Receive Wins from FEDEX or UPS without any Prior Notice If you can try and enter as much as possible your chances will be better and some times it is Random you have to be in there at the Right Time We do Wish that you will have The Best of Luck in Winning the Prize of your Dreams Good Luck to You Waving cheers

I know it's not normal, but i started sweeping last August 27th, I enter about 50 sweeps a day, I have won 2 grand prizes, one over $3000.00 and another over a grand,  so far this year over 24 wins including a mountain bike, Over 60 wins last year in 4 months, I just hope it keeps up...

I have had some decent wins in the past.  In 2006 I was a grand prize winner of a History Channel contest worth $3,500.  I won $500 in Honeybaked Ham products in 2008.  I haven't won anything else.  Not even a little win.  I'll just keep at it!   Waving

Waving Just to keep the faith, try entering a few blogs. Low entries mean a much better chance of winning. I win on an average of every other day. Good luck to you & here's hoping you'll have a win in the near future!

I haven't won a LOT compared to others on here, but whenever I think about quitting I always end up realizing that if I stop entering, there's no way to win!  I keep at it KNOWING that some day it WILL pay off.  Perseverance always rewards in the end!  And when it comes down to it, sweeping is a hobby for me, not something I just do for the prize.  I've found so many great companies out there and have learned a lot by entering sweepstakes (especially the blog ones!).  So I just try and look on the positive side of things when I get discouraged!

 Waving nrachuba

I've been sweeping since the late 80's {snail - I only won 3 or 4 small prizes from my hundreds of snail entries} and online since 2004. It took me about 6 months {online} to win after entering 150+ every single day.

Well, then it was like the floodgates opened, and I won a lot of small prizes. Then it just stopped dead for 7 months!!! I was still entering 150+ every single day, but nada  cry

I won a $750 digital camera from a flash daily prize sweeps, and that ended my dry spell.

I just got an affy in Jan. for a GP - my BEST win ever!!! So I keep this in mind...

***C%P alert - skip if you've heard this already  crazy tongue

Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win. If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.

The sweepers credo? Enter and forget it. Always be happy for those that win - even when they win "your" prize   - and be positive you will win.

Reminding myself of the sweepers credo is how I keep my positive attitude, and my sanity.

I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!! I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!!

Hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!!

I guess all I had to do was to post that I was having a dry spell because I had an envelope waiting for me when I got home tonight!!  Whoo hoo!  I was a winner of the Look Like A Pro Sweeptstakes!  A $200 prize!  I won a Nike Wind Shirt, golf shoes, golf shirt and tote bag!  I am thrilled!  Looks like the dry spell is over!  Thanks everyone for your support!!!!!!     cheers

Add me to the dry spell list.  I suppose I became spoiled because I had so many big wins in a couple of years.  I haven't won anything worth mention in about two years as well.  I won a 250.00 gift card and that has been it.  I am very glad for that win and I try not to complain.  I guess I got used to getting something in the mail every single week, sometimes several things each week!   It will come back around though!
