What a nightmare!  I have tons of mailer daemon notices Undeliverable from stuff I didn't send, and then friends and family started emailing me, "Suzi  Did you send this?"  OMG!

What should I do?

Virus software says no viruses.
Other than changing my email, which has all my business and contest stuff and friends and family....
I deleted every single contact that is NOT a friend, and I'm going to check my spam as if it was inbox hourly just so I don't miss something important.

I don't want to change my password, because then I'll be in Blackberry hell...  Tried that once, and it took AT&T an hour to get me back and running.....

Yeah was just on the news. Microsoft HOTMAIL got hacked. No, don't change you phone password. If it was me I'd just eliminate any update aps like facebook, email or tweeting or anything going into your phone until they fix it. After all, you'll need your phone!  Did you ever think years ago we'd become so dependent on gadgets? I just want to rock in my porch rocker and watch the world go by, while drinking a mint julippe!

Before I get to that, there is always a small possibility that your email account has been compromised. The solution there is simple: change your password immediately. That should prevent someone who's using your account for malicious purposes from continuing, assuming you've chosen a good password. (If you find that your account has indeed been compromised, you may want to change more than just your password.)
