lots of sweeps are email entries and when I would click on the email link at the site(just adventure for example) it would go to my email with the email addy in the address thing. now when I click the links it goes to my compose page but the email isnt already in the address thing. anyone know what could be causing this? I just read this and I dont sound very clear do I?  im not sure how else to explain it though. |

 I understand what you are saying, but don't know why unless it's just that sweep. Is is happening with all the ones that you have to email?

Unlike "Outlook Express", I don't see any "options" to play around with in "Yahoo". Maybe, just start adding the email addresses to your "contact" list. At least, you won't have to keep typing them out each time. Is there anyway they can post the email sweeps to just click on a link to open the email directly from the posted sweepstakes here?

I quess thats what I will do. It was so much easier the other way. I like the idea of having the link here. like in the listing? the only problem would be that some ask different stuff. not just name and addy. they want age sex..etc. or they have trivia. they would have to put the email link, info needed for entry and any trivia questions. that seems like alot for the already busy editors to do. It is a good idea though. |

It seems that Yahoo did something to change it from opening with the email already in it.
My suggestion is to put the email link in the posted sweepstakes so that when you click on it, the email opens up with the email address already there. Then in the information section, post what is required to enter name, address, etc., or blank and any trivia question that may be included. The notes would be for posting the answers.
When I finish doing my daily's for the day and go to get the newly posted sweeps, I copy "Name and Address" from the first one I have to type up and keep pasting it in any other email entries that require at least that info.

When I start sweeping for the day, I just copy my email so that I can just paste it in on the flash forms. It adds up to alot of saved time.

Just a suggestion but I have a dedicated email address of entering sweeps. It is a yahoo email. Anyway, in Yahoo you can assign a signature if you want. I have my name, address and phone number in mine so when I enter using the email I just type: Thanks or the equilviant(?) and "send". Hope this helps  |

The problem is that the email address it is suppose to go to isn't showing up and sometimes the email address is not provided.

It works on some now. I entered four different email sweeps this morning and it put the email addy in for two of them. |
