I believe you can subscribe to the service through the website.  All of the instructions are in the box I think.  There is no airtime with it that I am aware of, It is not in my name or anything.  There could be a coupon code or something in the box but then I would have to open it.   It came delivered from Circuit City.  I think you can subscribe through them as well. There are different subscription options looking like they range from 8 dollars to 12.00 per month, but I think there are discounts for prepaying.  I really don't know a whole lot about it.  I hope this helps.
