I don't know about your area but, I just came from Walmart. They had notebooks for a nickel! Dh and I purchased a case and then I went back in and purchased another case. There is 24 notebooks to a case and it came to $1.28 with tax per case. Dh asked me why I needed so many and I had to remind him of how they (our kids) ran out of supplies several times last year and we had to pay full price for the stuff.

Also, glue sticks are 2 for .22, pencils .50 and they have a lot of other stuff on sale. Once my GC from mypoints ever gets here (hope this week!) I am going to finish getting the supplies they need.

Just wanted to give you a heads up on the sale!

sunny  My husband went in early this morning to get some other stuff and to pick wup some more notebooks, they were all sold out! When he asked they said that they had sold them all yesterday even though the sale wasn't scheduled to start until today. Needless to say he sure was grumbling when he came home.  cussing

The cashier at the dollar tree told me some of the other walmarts in other counties here did the same thing. That is wrong, they shouldn't sell the items until they schedule the sale. I told her to hurry and get over there, they were selling out quick. If I could have, I would have bought more, some people had LOTS of cases. Dh told me my 3 was enough, lol. Now, I have to stock up on filler paper, I have 6 packs which will start them out. I think they are .50 a pack, I bought them when they were .60 a couple weeks ago.

Yep!  I didn't get notebook paper but I got Crayola crayons for $.24, rulers, pink erasers, and glue for mere pennies.  Some bossface bumped me while I was picking the stuff out of the bins so I elbowed her and said, "How YOU doing!!!!"  UGH.  There was more than enough nonsense to go around.
