Has anyone else that's signed up for UPS alerts ever received a package without getting the alert? 

I opened my door today and found a package had been delivered by UPS. It was the carpet cleaner from Shaw that I won 5 weeks ago. What confuses me is I signed up for the UPS alerts a couple weeks ago but wasn't alerted that the package was coming.  The address on the package is correct and I double checked my UPS account to make sure it was properly set up for alerts. Everything seems correct so I'm wondering why I didn't get an alert. Does anyone know if you only get alerts for packages that need a signature? Or are you supposed to get alerts for all packages?

since i've signed up i've always been alerted. did it accidently wind up in your spam folder? all the packages i've received so far didn't require a signature. add them to your contact list, so it goes into your inbox. maybe it's been going into your spam folder. hope that helps. happy holidays.
