cry  After reading about tiff & rock & the microwave, I realized that it is Holiday time & what is going to break this year.  4 Years ago I had to get a new oven because Thanksgiving day while I was cooking a turkey for my son & his family & inlaws the darn thing would heat so slowly.  It took about 7 hrs & still it was not done.  Water heater broke  2 days before Xmas a couple of years ago.  Last year had to buy a new vacuum the day before Xmas Eve.  Does anyone else have this kind of luck?

My treadmill died, Tiff's nuker died, it's the holiday curse on appliances.  Glad your truck is feeling better, 3mnkids1.

Oh well...long as no bones or vital organs break down this season, it'll be ok!  The other stuff is much easier to replace.   crazy tongue

sunny I can't complain about broken appliances as our business is appliance repair and resale. If he doesn't have time to fix something broken in the house, he just hauls it out and hauls in one that we have for sale.  cheers He is so funny about appliances, he has worked on them so long that he can listen to an appliance over the phone and tell what kind it is. Whenever I run the washer or dishwasher, he is always running over and lifting the lid or opening the door to see how it is running. It drives me crazy sometimes.  crazy tongue
We have this ancient monster of a microwave. That thing is like a big boat anchor. He won't let me replace it. He says they don't build them like that anymore. I tell him there's a reason for that! He just likes it because it has a broiler/browner in it that he can use to toast the big sandwiches he gets at the deli.

cry  Sorry Momma of 3 about your truck.  Having to spend $300. like that around the holidays or anytime is a crying shame.  Glad it is fixed though.

My sister went to her fridge yesterday and got out her milk, didn't notice there was a problem until she noticed that she needed an ice pic to get some ~ the themostat is stuck on it and they are having problems finding one because the thing is the "Fred Flintstone" model also ~ so it is looking like they are going to have to maybe have to break down and buy another one, but on the good side, they have gotten their moneys worth!!!
