You don't move them to expired. When they expire they automatically move to your My Expired Sweepstakes.

If you go into one of your My Sweepstakes Categories, example Daily My Sweepstakes:
http://www.sweepsadvantage.com/browsenew.php?cat=1&only_fav=True

If you have expired sweepstakes you will have an alert near the top of the page. Click the Alert link to access those Expired Daily Sweepstakes.

I wouldn't keep any expired sweepstakes around that are over 6 months since they expired. Don't worry about the space. These listings are small and don't account for much disk space.  Good Question, Thank You. :D

Could there be a "remove all" button added to the expired sweepstakes area? When I'm entering lots of contests I like to know how many are active at a glance without having to go to each type of contests and one-by-one remove all of my expired sweeps.

Yes please! I'd like to delete all of my expired sweeps but I'd rather spend that time entering sweeps!   laughing
A remove all would be great, thanks!   cheers

This "remove all" expired feature has been added.  Just navigate into a My Sweepstakes category that has expired listings and click the "Remove All" button near the top of the page. Then just leave the page and let the auto save pop up window save all the changes or click the Save My Sweepstakes button.  Smile

Thanks for adding the feature, unfortunately it doesn't seem to work for me on either IE7 or Firefox.

Any suggestions?

One more note about this option. It will only remove all the expired sweepstakes on the page, one page at a time. One of our members had several thousand expired my sweepstakes. In this case you would have to keep removing a page at a time.  The idea with expired my sweepstakes is to try and clean up your list from time to time so that we don't have tons of unneeded expired my sweepstakes in the database. This in the long run if it is not cleaned up will cost SA more to maintain. We appreciate the effort.

All better now - I deleted ALL of my expired - if I happen to get a win I can just use Power Search Expired Sweepstakes   headbang

this is why I use Post Note:
IE. 7-31E,8-15D.
July 31 expires, drawing Aug 15th.
On One Entry ones, after I enter new ones and save I then go into My Sweeps, One Entry and post note.
Daily I just try to do when I go in each day and make sure I have a note.
I periodally go into my Expired and remove any more than 6 months.
This is why I wanted Notes back on Expired.

How do I search for an expired sweepstakes without going through a few hundred of my contest entries?  I recently won a prize (a beach bag) from Glamour magazine and would like to how many were given out.  I don't know when it expired. Thank you.

I like searching and I found this:

GlamAlert.Com - Beach Beauty Guide Sweepstakes
There will be one thousand and 1 winners (1,001), one (1) grand prize winner and one thousand (1,000) second prize winners. The grand prize is two (2) coach airfare tickets from the major commercial airport nearest winner's primary residence in the U.S. to a U.S. beach selected by Sponsor and one standard hotel room (double occupancy) for three nights at a hotel selected by Sponsor. The approximate retail value of the prize is $3,000, The second prize is a Glamour Beach Bag (1,000 total). The approximate retail value of the second prize is $10.
Restrictions : 18+ US , DC | Hits : 608 | Added : 06-12-09 | Expired : 07-07-2009 | Rules

Entry Category : One Entry

There are several ways you can search. I went to Power Search, then Power Search Expired, and I typed in "beach bag." Four pages came up. I guess if you were to make your search more specific, like "Glamour beach bag" you should find what you are looking for even more efficiently, without coming up with several pages.  Smile

sunny It helps to know the name of the sweeps. I usually end up googling a sweep to get the name if I don't already have it. Otherwise it can be almost impossible to find in the expired search option on the SA home page. That's how I found this:
