I'd gladly take that kind of coverage on glasses. A couple of years ago I thought I'd save a bundle for my new glasses and take care of my nieces need for new glasses by using one of those same-day "buy one get a second pair free" places. Well they fail to mention that the frames alone start at $200 until after you've been examined. Then there's the lenses, anti-scratch, uv and anti-glare coatings and protection plan. None of which is mentioned up front THEN they tell me that MY prescription is going to take a week to make but my nieces will be done in an hour.

Basically, they wound up costing me $500 for the two pairs even though one was "free". I could have gone to LensCrafters and got two pairs in a couple of hours for that price. I miss having insurance. With my bad eyesight that's only getting worse, the cost is going to keep rising.
