I need facebook friends too. I only use this account for sweeping. My friends think I'm nuts for all the contests I enter, so I just made another facebook account for sweeping only. This thread is a general FB friends thread - if you want people to sign up under you for a specific sweeps, you need to start a thread: Easy how to: 1} Post your OWN thread, 1 thread per contest so do post different threads for different contests, noting the end date and how often we can vote in your title, along with the name of the contest or at least the name of the sponsor. ESPECIALLY If you *have* to post a shortened link, at least post the contest title/sponsor, so people will know it's safe to click. Before you ask for votes - is/was it listed at SA? http://www.sweepstakesplus.com/smf/before-you-ask-for-votes-iswas-it-listed-at-sa-t79011.0.html2} Go to the other threads in this forum, then vote for them - post you voted and any info you can: I voted, 3874, etc. You only need to post this once {for a 1x ask} or daily {for a daily ask}. {With a lot of the voting contests, after you vote, it will tell you what the vote tally is, or say something like "vote recorded 04-14-2007, 2:53pm". If you can, copy this line into your "I voted" post to verify that you really did vote.}3} If you post a 1x ask, at *least* vote 1x for the other asks. Removed my FB address for the time being, until I figure this out. updated 3-9-2012
Not sure how this all works.... I use my facebook account to enter sweepstakes only. Not used for personal friends and/or family and/or Work.
Would like to request friends so I can refer you as friend when entering sweepstakes that give you additional entries for referring friends.

I just sent a message for friend request to a number of you who listed your FB address. I'm Still new at this FB friend, request friend, thing, so forgive me, or accept me, as a friend if I did something wrong. Any advise on the FB friend/friend request procedure/process would be welcome.
Again I only use my FB account to enter sweepstakes.

Sorry I'm late getting back to you all, whom I sent friend request to. I go on what may be akin to binges of sweepstaking. On for hours then off for day or so. Anyway Please don't take offence.
I have NO IDEA what I'm doing on FB, or what I'm supposed to do, or not do on Facebook. It's like a foreign PLANET to me.
This may be a dumb question but... When I requested friends and you accepted my request, am I your friend also or do you have to send request to be my friend back?
Please, if I'm not responding, please give me time to get comfortable with this FB stuff.

zoom38 - I figured it out {it showed zoom in the address bar  } I'm pretty lost too, and with the new walls {which I HATE} I've mostly been avoiding FB except to enter the sweeps I've been entering.  |
