"Food Colors"

Yesterday I went to the doctor for my yearly physical.

My blood pressure was high, my cholesterol was high, I'd gained
Some weight, and I didn't feel so hot.

My doctor said eating right doesn't have to be complicated and it
Would solve my physical problems. He said just think in colors;
Fill  your plate with bright colors; greens, yellows, reds, etc.

I went right home and ate an entire bowl of M&M's and sure enough,
I  felt better immediately.

I never knew eating right could be so easy.

LOL, Tammy.

Just a chance your doctor meant natural, not artificial colors? If you try it, I will too.  Smile

 sunny As delicious as the M&M's are, save them for when you really need a taste of chocolate. I am worried about you. You need to take care of yourself, your family needs you. You don't have to starve yourself, just make little changes to start and you will soon feel a difference and motivation to make more changes.

BTW ~ I found this on the internet this morning and thought it was cute!  It isn't a personal story!

I go back to the doc in two weeks so hopefully I will be getting back on track for my surgery!  Everything is fine with me ~ my blood pressure is normal, my cholesterol is normal and I have lost a whopping 15 lbs.  I feel better than I have in a while.  My anemia is under control and all of the rest of my blood tests came back fine!!

I love you all for worrying about me though ~ you all are true friends!!
