Dear Ken, et al, My "Sort" doesn't "move" from one thing to another - like from Weeklies to IW to Dailies. And, before the upgrade, it did. It's just a small thing, really, but I did like it.... Kate This has just been fixed.

If you don't mind me adding two little things whenever you have the time to get to it. Can you change "Child Boards" back to "Sub-Categories". If you remember, some, including myself, didn't know what that was; and, in the one, it sounded like where you go to trade children! Also, the function that when you hover your cursor over a thread, you can see some of what is posted in the first post. Thanks! Oh, and I just noticed that the option to show your signature line or not is missing under "Additional Options". I don't know if that's important to anyone.

We disabled the option to toggle the signatures some time before the upgrade. Seemed most wanted the signatures auto-on. All the other changes have been made with the exception of spell check which we need a replacement for because the old version is no longer compatible. Thank You! I have noticed double posting in the post comment section. I have noticed that when I post a comment and submit my screen just flickers and I get the post a comment box again. I assume others are getting the same thing and thinking their post didn't go through (when in fact it did) so they post their comment again. Their is no confirmation that your post has been submitted.
Also I'm getting a box showing up on my screen today to sign up for the newsletter. I can close the box but is their any way to prevent it from constantly coming back?
Thanks! David

I posted about the "post comment" problem today in the announcement forum and we are aware and working on a fix. The pop up for the newsletter should only show itself one time to you. This is a reminder for people to signup for the newsletter again because we have switched newsletter services and all need to confirm. This is a temporary pop up and again it should show itself one time only. -Ken I have noticed double posting in the post comment section. Unlike some people I clear my cookies and delete my temp. internet files. When ever I do and log back into SA that subscribe box is there to greet me again. Also, sometimes I have problems with the drop down box to navigate around the site. For example, after I leave this comment if I use the drop down box to go to the SA homepage it may or may not go there. When it doesn't it says "page not found". This seems to be just a periodic problem.
Thanks, David

My hands are sort of tied with deleting the cookies. Our apps for login and etc rely on them to recognize you. I would suggest that you use your Internet web browser to allow all cookies from sweepsadvantage.com as we are a safe domain even according to a trusted 3rd party like Mcafee Site Advisor. http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/sweepsadvantage.com

Just to give you a heads up on a new one. The comments email notifications are coming in like this without a clickable link:

Hello,
You are receiving this email because you are watching the comment, Subway.com - Scrabble Sweepstakes *Purchase/Snail* at SweepsAdvantage.com. This comment has received a reply since your last visit. I'm having the same problem, and ppriebe had told me she was also having problems. I do have my computer set to accept all of SA's cookies too. Though, for example, when I go from here to the homepage from the drop-down and then try to come back into the forum from the drop-down, I get an error page. I have to backup to get back in. There are also times when I just get a blank page for other actions.

I can't reproduce your problem with the jump to or the blank pages. I was working on the post comment page last night when you received that broken comment message. I would highly suggest you clear all SA cookies and and then login here: http://www.sweepsadvantage.com/amember/member.phpFor those members that are on the site many times per day you might have picked up a corrupt cookie from the forum when we were doing the upgrade. This is evident from the 50 Top Comments page where the username field shows up blank for some posts. These members have a old forum cookie and not the correct SA cookie.

Still having a problem with the subscribe to the newsletter "floating" box. I went ahead and subscribed thinking it will make it go away for good. But after I delete cookies and log back on to SA that dang box is back. It doesn't seem to remember that I already signed up. I can set my web browser to allow all cookies from sweepsadvantage.com but anytime I delete cookies it's still coming back.

My smiley faces haven't been moving in days. Plus, just a little while ago, they started doing freaky things. If I click on one, it will either show up in a different spot or wipe out everything I've typed.

As already stated, you need to accept our cookie. Here is the steps. For IE6 1. From Internet Explorer, choose "Tools" then "Internet Options". 2. From the "Internet Options" multi-tabbed dialog box that appears, select the "Privacy" tab. 3. Click the "Edit" button next to "To Override cookie handling for individual web sites". 4. Type in a www.sweepsadvantage.com and press the "Allow" button to allow that domain to set cookies on your machine. 5. Press "OK" and close both dialog boxes when done. For IE7 In IE7, Internet Options / Privacy / Sites / sweepsadvantage.com = Always Allow cookies

Well, so much for that. It's doing it again. Can you send me an email with a summary of the problem using our contact form? I can't reproduce this problem with Firefox or IE so it has to be something localized. This topic is really only meant for announcing upgrades and not support. Thank you.

It looks nice! I had to be away for a while to do business, and now that I'm back your upgrade works seamlessly. My cookies were accepted and I'm having no probs.
