I will keep you and your family in my prayers.  The only advice I can offer is to try to stay strong for your daughter and grandson.

Wow, how devastating to hear such news concerning your child...I cannot imagine the pain you much be feeling now.  In just a few short words I would encourage you to try and be strong for your daughter and grandchild...they will need your love & support for what lies ahead.  I will put you & your family on my prayer list...hopefully, you have church family or other family members who can help and be there to assist you in whatever way possible-God Bless.

I am so sorry for the news about your daughter, I lost an uncle last year to cancer, but, his wife fought the cancer she had, and is in remission, and I will pray for you and your family to have the strength to survive this, put it in Gods hands, he will provide.  Bless you and yours.

I am sorry that you and your family are going through such a hard time. Like others, I add my good wishes and prayers for you.

In your post you say that you do not know how to get your SA mail. Do you mean you do not know how to get your Personal Messages (PMs)? If so, here are some instructions. Try them out, and after you try, you may want to return to your original post and remove your email address.

How to get your Personal Messages:
(Please don't be offended if you already know how; I wasn't sure from your question.)

  • Go to the forum
  • Look at the dark, thin, pea green bar. It says, "SA Main, Home, Blogs, Help, Arcade, Search, Admin, Profile, My Messages, etc.
  • Click on My Messages
  • It will take you to the page where you can read/send Personal Messages.
  • If you have messages, click on them to read them. If you want to send a messages, go to the little box on the left, and click on "New Message."

I will send you a PM now so you can try to read it and reply.

I hope that you will find all the medical care, strength and support you need to get you, your daughter and your grandson through this time.

Here is a link to The American Cancer Society.
http://www.cancer.org/docroot/home/index.asp

You can type in your zip code to find a local chapter. They were very helpful to my mother in many ways and she is still doing well.

My heart goes out to you because of the pain your family is going through. I will tell you that I believe we serve a big God and nothing is impossible or too big for him. God can cure cancer and he can make us strong in our bodies. Pray for healing for your daughter and her son. If he doesn't give you the answer you might be looking for that just means he is got something else planned. We can put our trust and faith in him and accept that he will see us through any trial that comes our way.

My advice to you is to ask the Father to keep you strong for your daughter and know that he is always there when you call out to him. You are her father and you can speak blessings into her life. Be encouraged and lean on God. I will pray with you. God bless.

I also will pray for you and your family, As to her husband, I would not even waste my time and effort in hating him Let him go on to whatever, God will take care of that.
I worked for hospice for several years and also cared for both of my parents while they passed from cancer, and know it is a very trying diseases and wears you down dealing with it. If you ever want to talk feel free to send me an e-mail, personal message.
Most importantly relie on God and make sure to take some time for yourself. Allow yourself to feel sad and happy at different times and know there are people who really do care.

WoW, will keep you in my prayers. I knew a girl who was supposed to get engaged one christmas years ago. she was in a major car accident and they had to amputate both legs below the knees to remove her from the vehicle.  The guy she was supposed to get engaged to I had known from childhood and knew what kind of person he was, so it wasn't much of a surprise to me when he dumped her when she came out of her coma and married another girl.  What a man! I know of another instance that is similar to yours also.  Can you imagine that kind of people out there.    I will keep hoping that maybe there will be something they can do before it progresses more.  I can't imagine anything more hurting for a mother or father to find out about a child.  Try to stay strong for your daughter.
