So Groupon is a "daily deals" type site. Usually the deal is a gift certificate for  less than face value for local restaurants, places of entertainment etc in cities accross the country. And you don't have to live in a city to buy the groupon so you can think ahead for upcoming travel or gifts. Sometimes the deals are web based too for those of who don't live in a major city.Love Groupon! I've gotten a $50 gap GC for $25, $25 Drugstore.com GC for $10 and $20 Soap.com GC for $10. Even if you don't live in one of the listed cities there are a lot of web based deals to be had!

I should explain they usually have to hit a certain number before a groupon is "on" so if you sign up early it's possible the deal won't happen (and you won't be charged). Also some of the deals are limited (others are not).

I would love some referrals. It's a great way to save money and try new places/websites.
