I never posted this, because I joined the site a month after, but
in July, I won all all exspense paid trip to San Diego. I recieved 2 4 day passes to Comic Con, and
I sat down and interviewed Peter Jackson, and the director of District 9, as well as the lead actor of the movie! Its my only "big" win so far, but it was so much fun.

Waving They deliver our mail really late, so this morning early, I went out to get the mail.  My man is still sleeping and I don't have the heart to wake him up, and I had to tell someone, so here we go!

There was an envelope postmarked from Canada with no return address, and I almost tossed it as junk mail.  As soon as I opened it, I saw a check made out to me from AIG Annuity Insurance Company for $3,712.02!  YAY!

Good luck to all of you, and be sure you open all that junk mail.  You never know........   cheers

I hate to tell you this but Im fairly sure that is a scam and the check is no good- I got the same thing about six months ago - do not give them any info!!! I looked up the AIG contact info on line and called them directly- they confirmed that what I had was a stolen and forged check that they had nothing to do with and they had me fax them copies of it so they could contact the police with the info. Dont call the number on the paperwork- get the real contact info and call them directly.... Mabey, hopefully, this might be real for you but it was the exact same situation and company from Canada that I recieved a check from and dealt with and it was a scam. Goodluck.

Quote from: ll1
we all love to hear about the big wins lets us all the reality that people do win Smile

I agree. I read of all these big wins, and I never really thought I'd get one. I dreamed of it, and I have "feelings" sometimes. Not even close to psycic like stuff, but just little feelings of luck. The day before I won a years free netflix I told the wifey I had a feeling a big win was going to happen. I told her 2 weeks ago, I had a lucky feeling again. I had dreamed of a big win like this, but never considered the reality of it. I'm normal just like everyone. I believe in karma, and Thursday night I sold a car to a friend of my son's for $500 less then I wanted, because the kid worked 2 jobs this summer to earn enough. He came up short, but since he worked his as* off, and the money meant to me no worries about school shopping and about 800 in dentist bills, I excepted his offer. He was so happy, he almost cried.

So normal people can have extraordinary luck.

That is so beautiful! It makes entering sweepstakes so much more special, that you can make others happy too. YAY!

Your prize, should you meet the eligibility requirements stated in the Official Sweepstakes Rules, the choice of one of the following choice of one (1) of the four (4) following National Parks: (i) Yellowstone National Park, Jackson Hole, Wyoming; (ii) Dry Tortugas National Park, Key West Florida; (iii) Grand Canyon National Park, Flagstaff Arizona; or (iv) Smoky Mountains National Park-Knoxville Tennessee. Regardless of the trip selected, it will consist of roundtrip coach airfare for four (4) persons; 6 days/5 nights hotel reservations at a hotel to be designated by Sponsor; full size car rental for 6 days; 6 days National Park admission tickets for four; and One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) spending money.  Total Approximate Value: Not to exceed $9,780.  If actual retail value is less than stated Total Approximate Retail Value, Grand Prize Winner will not receive difference between actual retail value and Total Approximate Retail Value.
