...By that I mean been there since the firsts days of the contest/sweep and entered faithfully through the period withe max entries allowed? What was the outcome? Did you win anything or totally miss out of the prizes? It's still fun either way, I know....I just wonder if people give it their all and the timing just has to be right. In the reverse, anybody enter just once or twice on a daily and win?

i'm not sure this is what your looking for...but...I know many instant wins, that i see other people winning...i try, and try and never win....then i know for sure, that i've entered a daily on the last day and won over  $1,200 of GE  stuff.............so the moral seems to be...play because its fun, and enjoy what you do win!!

Waving I have entered daily from beginning to end with no win on many sweeps. I have also won on daily entries with just one entry. You just never know which entry will be the winner. Odds are that the more you enter a contest the better your chances, but you just never know.

Thanks, Debbie and pmeek...that is what I figured really! It is fun and exciting to not know when the win will strike! I did knid of hope to hear about a win or wins that came on one or two entries....Shows you that "luck" is out there once in a while!

sunny I remember several year ago entering everyday for a year to win a car. The winner was a SA member who entered one time the last day of the sweeps. That was definitely luck!

I've had a few things I tried extra hard to win and did not. I still enter the daily and unlimited but I don't put so much effort into it because I try to see it as a each entry has the same chance, be it my one or 75, it's still going to be random so I just make sure I'm in it and hope for the best.

My mother once won a car. She shopped at the same grocery store all the time (large chain) and one of the baggers talked her into entering the drawing and she did the one time. That's all it took.

Rebecca, great for your Mom! woohoo on that one entry for her! Amy, that is funny....Yes, I guess one would think they have a good chance when they put their "all" into it! I am sort of feeling that way about a few of them! LOL I am glad you finally won! I take it it was worth it for $10,000!   crazy tongue

I have entered daily every day for months and have both won and lost. I have also won daily on one entry and lost tons of ones I only entered once.

Yes, I have diligently entered a sweeps every day offering several prizes and not won even the lowest tier prize. But then I have been the sole winner or 1 of only 5 or 10 winners on a sweeps I barely remember entering! And that's what I love about sweeping, the surprise of it all! When it comes out of left field, it's so much fun!!!! Sweep on!!!

Hi!

I thought I would just chime in here Smile (I have a product called Sweepstakes Ninja which is listed elsewhere on this site that you can look at, which can help make sweepstaking more fun for you! Link here: http://www.sweepsadvantage.com/sweepstakes-371408.html)

From what I've seen (personal experience as well as based on a lot of other people), I would pretty much agree with what everyone else has said here so far.
It is pretty much a numbers game, and then there is also an element of luck involved. There is no 'guarantee' that you will win, but if you enter 'consistently', you will greatly increase you chances.

There are 3 main ways of increasing your chances of winning more prizes, more often. They are:

- Enter More Sweepstakes. If you enter 10/day, change it to say 100/day.
- Enter More Often. I.e., if it is a daily sweepstakes, and you only enter 1/30 days, enter 30/30 days.
- Tell friends and family about the promotions/sponsors/etc. This one might sound a bit interesting, and I'll explain why. Sponsors usually offer sweepstakes because they want to raise their company profile through sweepstakes. I.e., they hope that the money they put in will result in greater sales/more profit. If they offer $1,000 in prizes, they want to hopefully see at least $2,000-$3,000 in return, in terms of goodwill, increased sales, people trying out their product, etc, etc. If you, as well as everyone else, who enters a particular sweepstakes tells friends & family about the promotion, then the company will be most likely to see a 'measurable' return in terms of their sweepstakes. I.e., it was a 'success'. And of course, if they make their money back and then some, most businesses will run even 'more' sweepstakes with 'greater' prizes pools, because the last one was such a success. (I.e., common sense -- i.e., I'd guess that for 99% of people, if you told them to give you a dollar, and you'd give them 3, (and of course they knew it was legit/etc/etc), most would jump at the opportunity). Most businesses pretty much act the same way. So you can help 'increase' the chances of certain types of sweepstakes being held more often & more frequently by telling friends and family about it.

Anyways, hope that helps!

Johnathan
