I am running out of ideas for healthy snacks and foods for my one year old!

We always do fruits and whole grains with every meal, protein (like chicken or eggs) with two of the meals, and veggies/cheese for snacks. I give him sorbet or a cookie for dessert. However I am stuck in a rut and don't know how to expand his options for meals and/or snacks. Anyone have any other suggestions?

sunny When my son was little and I would take him grocery shopping with me. I would let him pick out his snacks. His favorites were cottage cheese and canned spinach!! As a grown up, he still buys canned spinach, opens up the can and just eats it!
Other snacks included sliced apples with peanut butter, ants on a log (celery stuffed with peanut butter and sprinkled with raisins) or low fat yogurt. We have a dehydrater and my son and grandkids loved the dried apple slices, bananas, strawberries, watermelon, pears, etc.    You can put just about anything in pita bread and on tortillas. I really like the whole wheat ones.

Sources of healthy monsaturated fat like avocado, nut butters (presuming no allergy) olives (some kids will eat them, one of my nephews would literally rather die than touch a black olive) hummus (the kind made with olive oil, Athenos is good or you can make your own).
