One of our members was successful in contacting Hearst magazines regarding the "Dream of a Lifetime" sweeps.  According the Hearst, the sweepstakes that we are having problems with have ended.  They were being conducted by "Ventura."  The Heast rep said there is a mail-in alternative for them as long as the post card is dated by 1/31/08.

The "Dream" sweeps have been moved to the Snail Mail category. 

Some of the pages have gone completely offline, but some are still working.  This is from one of the "Dream of a Lifetime" sweeps rules:

You may enter by mail in lieu of online or via text messaging by hand printing your name, address, daytime telephone number, & the Internet or other location where you found these instructions on a postcard & mailing it to Sweepstakes Entry, PO Box 5772, Ellenton, FL 34222-5007. Mailed entry must be postmarked by the deadline posted elsewhere on this offer for online or text message entry if applicable, & received within 7 days thereafter.

As I'm sure you have noticed, none of the Hearst sweeps are running correctly at the moment.  They are throwing us a screen telling us to check off a box that isn't there.  This is a problem at their end.  Hopefully their IT folks will act quickly to fix it.  Please do not report these sweeps since we already know they're a problem.  Thanks!
