Another day, another UPS drive by.  I hope he stops soon,  I feel like a stalker when I hear the truck...lol.  I'm sure there are plenty others out there in the same situation, so heres my wish that we all get to be on a first name basis with our delivery drivers.  Good luck!

We were sitting out on the front deck last Friday night, drinking some beers and grilling out with the neighbors.  A Fedex van drove by on the road that crosses our road.  I went stiff and then pulled myself together.  Afterall, didn't want the neighbors wondering wth was wrong with me.  I went back to chatting with my neighbor when it pulls onto our road!  I stood up just in case the driver couldn't see our address on our mailbox.  I then started waving  laughing  He honked and kept on driving  cussing  Neighbor lady was laughing and asked if I was expecting a package.  If she only knew  laughing

Yeah, it's gotten to where I can recognize the type of truck by the sound of the engine and brakes from downstairs.
Squeaky brake + hydraulic whoosh = garbage truck
Brakes sound like a foghorn = school bus
vroom pause vroom = mailman
diesel + sliding door = PACKAGES!!!!!!!!!!!

It could be worse.  I arrive home from work tonight, UPS pulls up as I am on the stairs.   I put my stuff on the rocker, excitedly turn around, my heart pounding, it's been so long! He's behind me on the porch!  He hands me a package.  I can't wait to rip into it.  What is it.  What could it be.  I see the label and, wait for it...................... it's for the husband!   cussing  It was something for work!   cussing  I called him right up and demanded a divorce!   headbang   laughing

 laughing  yall are so funny.

Yea I go to my mailbox at least 5 times a day, maybe more. The good thing is its attached to my house. So I don't have to walk to far, just outside my porch.
I have hippie neighbors though. They always sit outside. And they look at me like I'm crazy, cause i look at the door so much. lol.

You want to talk about making you sick...we had a UPS semi-truck pull up in front of our house.  I don't know what I expected...a new car, new furniture or what but I got so excited.  Yep, it was for the neighbor...and it was a pretty small package.  Talk about the ultimate cruel joke ~ I can hear the sweep gods laughing at me still...
