I'm a veteran from The Other Place, and I want to wave hello to friends V-C and IntheSticks. I also remember amyshulk and greensthings from a while back.

Thanks for all the good wishes.
I haven't been banned from the other board, merely enjoying the best of both. Wins have been slow with me lately, and I'm looking around for more local sweeps to enter. I hope I'll be able to contribute something of value here.

I'm so glad you found us - as wfbears (coup) says, the tools here are OUTSTANDING - now that I've experienced being able to leave a note to myself right under the sweeps it pertains to, I see why they are still clamoring for that perk after all this time!!! :lol:
And SweepsCheck√ ? PERFECT for not only marking 1x's, but also for marking those you've looked at and decided to NOT enter - makes the expiring at the end of the month a breeze if you use it on all the new sweeps categories!!!
And the Instants (IW's) are in their OWN category!!! :shock: If you save one that is a 1x entry - or is a weekly/24 hr/etc? Well, that's where the NOTES feature comes in - can you tell I LOVE that feature? :P
The only feature that isn't here? I click Add to My Sweepstakes -changing it to Remove from My Sweepstakes - then I bookmark the link(s) in FireFox to enter & I just open them in tabs 8) It's actually BETTER than the other way btw!!! 8)
Anywho - glad to have you here - don't be a stranger now - post often! :wink:

Just an update.
They're going banning crazy over at the other site.
The website owner is continuously adding on to the rules prohibiting everything and anything. A clear violation of the FTC's regulations protecting internet user's rights to express their opinions, etc.
Any threads, posts, and notes, they simply don't like are getting deleted left and right. It has gotten to the point where you can't say much of anything over there.
They're banning members without warning and without giving any reason.
From what I understand, these banned members have no clue as to why they were banned.
It also appears that the owner is claiming copyrights to everything contained on zzz. Hmm, does that mean he's claiming rights over the sweepstakes?
I also question the legality of charging a fee to access "free" sweepstakes that he holds hostage until you pay up. It does come with a couple of extra features, but I don't believe he can do this with the sweepstakes. If anyone knows, let me know.
If any current or banned members wish to post a grievance against this site, let me know. I have a website that already has complaints posted against them which could lead to possible litigation if there are grounds.
I will continue to direct current members unhappy with that other site and banned members over to SA. :smt001

good to know. If you are talking about the one I think you are talking about. It has alot of issues. Bottom line-- This site is the best,I wish more people would post in the forums though. Maybe people who leave their will come here sweep and post. Only the nice ones though. Those mean ones can just stay where they are.

If you saw how many members they have, you would notice that very, very few of them post in the forum over there and/or pay for the extra membership.
The forum there is very cliquey, and some members can get real nasty; but as long as they're kissing the owner's butt and singing his praises, they won't get banned no matter what they do.
I think I may have gotten another one over here today.
Maybe, the reason members here aren't posting so much in the forums is because we have lives, and they (over at the other site) don't. :smt002
