Are you a good speller? We'll I am not. One of the suggestions from our members was to add a spell checker to the forum and comments posting forms.  We implemented Spelling Cow today and this should help correct those spelling errors.

How it works: If any words are mis-spelled while you are typing Spelling Cow will highlight the word in yellow. Click the highlighted word and it will offer the correct spelling to you. Select the correctly spelled word and wallah!

See that ..I spelled Wallah!

A stroke of bovine inspiration, thanks!

*******************

I love words and language, so I was intrigued when a saw a word I didn't recognize.  For anyone else who didn't know it, a wallah (or walla) is a noun derived from Hindi meaning:  1. One employed in a particular occupation or activity: a kitchen wallah; rickshaw wallahs. 2. An important person in a particular field or organization: “the Ritz, a favorite haunt of Republican wallahs” (John Robinson).

So I guess our Admin is the Website Wallah?

Just a quick update on this. We had to replace the spelling cow program with another one because I found out they were inserting their ads into the form. The new spell checker does not have any ads. Just click the ABC image near the top of the message box to do the same spell check.

Thank You!

wow, what a nice feature! I have always wished sweep sites had these, since my fingers don't always type the words correctly. (Sure...I can spell everything! NOT!

Thanks...I like it.
