Admin:

I hope I am not overstepping here, but I have been thinking.  The first time I submitted a sweep, I made a mistake and did it through the affiliated submission form.  I have since learned that was not right, but I did like the form.  It laid out what info we should include and I actually thought it was easier to use than just the forums.

If I am alone in this thought, please ignore my suggestion, but I was wondering if having a form similar to that would be helpful to those submitting sweeps as well as the editors.  Just a thought.

Thank you.

That's an interesting thought. The editors regularly scan the new sweepstakes forum to see if there is anything there that isn't already on the site.

I think I could probably come up with a form that had all the same fields but posted all this info into the new sweepstakes forum so that there wouldn't be too much editing before the sweep made it to production.

How does that sound?

Oh yes please!!! The power sweepstakes search seems to have all the parameters - is it possible you could work your magic so we could use it as a template for when we submit sweeps?  8)

Thanks again Ken - you too wolfie, you articulated what I've been thinking!!!

I would like to suggest more information be available for input when listing a sweep. Specifically, I think that a direct link to the entry form, the login (where needed) and the homepage would be good. Oftentimes I have to start from the homepage so the site can drop a cookie. Sometimes I have trouble figuring out where to enter. Sometimes I waste time clicking to get to the login page.

Thanks to Ken for paying close attention to what members want, and for implementing the changes.

I want to post a suggestion that will help members find sweeps faster. If there is a list of expired sweeps it's easy to find new ones because sponsors often list new ones right after sweeps have ended. At The Other Place people were listing dozens a week this way.
