So i was wondering how much time does everyone spend entering sweepstakes and how do you find the time? I enter when my son is down for his naps other than that the rest of my time is spent chasing after him.
That only gives me about 3-4 hours a day to enter! what is everyone elses sweepstaking day like?

I am retired and no little ones at home with me.  I have trained my husband that the house will not always be spottless and dinner will be ready whenever I get around to fixing it.... so I can sweep whenever I want to and however long I want to.  Honestly, I don't know how people with kids or jobs or both do it so I am no help at all.  I guess my only advice is do what you can, when you can and don't worry about it.  Choose the sweeps you enter wisely so you don't feel like you are wasting what little time you have.  Be sure you are using the tools on SA and a form filler to make your sweeping go faster than.  Good luck!

3-4 hours seems like a lot. I agree, only enter the ones you want, don't waste time on everything else. Instant wins are the most gratifying, even if they are smaller prizes. I am learning to narrow down my searches so I don't feel like I am wasting time, or missing out on the ones I really wanted. Also I am entering ones with a lot of prizes. I hope for the big prize but don't hold my breath when its a one in a million chance.

When I was younger, I discovered the more I did, the more I was *able* to do!

At one time, I was active duty {USN} a member of 2 volleyball teams and a lunch bowling league, with a baby and husband to take care of - I was *never* bored!!!

My son was a teen when I started sweeping onlne, and I was a band mom {in charge of their uniforms} and I'd find the time to sweep. There were 3 of us sharing one pc, but I learned to prioritize in the USN, so I used my time as best I could.

Now, he's grown, I'm disabled and unable to work, and I have my own laptop, so my challenge is in not getting distracted in the forums  crazy tongue whistle laughing

judge gives good advice - "do what you can, when you can and don't worry about it.  Choose the sweeps you enter wisely so you don't feel like you are wasting what little time you have.  Be sure you are using the tools on SA and a form filler to make your sweeping go faster"

I enter about an hour a day. In the last six months, I have gotten about $700 in cash and prizes. There are some days I don't enter at all and some I spend 3hours. Most days it's just one hour. My tips is to stick to sweepstakes that has several prizes.

I sweep fairly minimally during the week (usually do the instants on the laptop while watching tv after dinner, occasionally try to get caught up in some of the other categories if I feel like it once the instants are done). I tend to go on sweep-binges about 1 weekend a month, I'll call "lazy day" and tackle a whole category or a large chunk of one on a Saturday with the laptop in bed while marathoning a show or two that I let pile up in the DVR, usually the week after a binge, I can keep up with the new stuff in that category on top of my instants, and then I start to let things slide again.

Well, unfortunately I've been out of work for a year and a half, so I kind of look at sweeping as a part time job...Lol. I probably spend around 4 hours a day sweeping, sometimes more, sometimes less. Even though I have put in 1200+ hours so far this year, I don't win that often and I still have yet to win anything over $100. Half of it is luck for sure!!

Right now, I do a few hours a day. I could do less and do a lot less on the weekends. Weekends, I make do with about 2 hours total ea. day. It seems to be working for me....and I really don't see how I could do any more than a few hours....with wanting to keep my circulation healthy and my carpal tunnel at bay! LOL  laughing

I have two smaller kids, 7 and 9. I enter 180 sweeps a day on average.

What I do is put them on the bus at 8:30. By this time I've already did laundry for the day, dishes and cleaned up. At 10am each morning I take an hour, watch my dvr shows and enter sweeps. I'm pretty fast at this point with roboform so an hour is all I need Smile

I am such an on again/off again sweeper.  I have learned to only enter those sweeps where I really love the prizes with many given away.  Even so, I will go days without entering any!  I homeschool 7 kids and I don't want sweeping to take over my life.  However,  sometimes I wake up early so I will allow myself to do sweeps until 7 AM.  If I know a particular sweeps has good odds I will try to do it daily - usually I only have 1 or 2 like that at any one time.

I try to enter and forget.  Much less stress that way and droughts tend not to bother me at all because i know beyond the shadow of a doubt that I WILL win something as long as I keep entering once in awhile.

I have won $700 worth of prizes in 2011 with my biggest win being an xbox360, kinect and sports game worth $350. (That's received prizes - I actually won $190 from Taco Bell/Doritos  but haven't received it yet.)

Main tip - just do what you can and don't worry about what you can't - YOU WILL WIN!

I actually run a site called 'Sweepstakes Ninja', which helps you *save* lots and lots of time.
People have won literally thousands of dollars worth of prizes, and sponsors/companies love the
site too because they get increased exposure to their products and services.

You can enter hundreds of sweepstakes in minutes, instead of hours, by choosing the ones you
want, using the built-in form filler, confirming everything looks good, then entering.

Lots of people love the service.

You can see details here:

With having four kids, I have to say that it is EXTREMELY hard to find time anymore to enter sweeps. I used to do more sweeping when my kids took their naps but now, I mainly do them in the evenings once they all go to bed Smile
