I told my parents that I had a sore throat so that I wouldn't have to join them for dinner.  I did this solely to spend the entire day entering sweepstakes.  Sometimes I don't tell the truth about how much time I spend doing this.  If I won more stuff, I wouldn't feel so guilty about the time I spend!

We stayed home, well except for when dh went hunting a couple times today. I took a pain pill last night for my tooth and instead of putting me to sleep, it kept me up all night so I went to bed at 5am. I won 3 instants though! A $10 gas card, tshirt and cookies. Small wins but, still thrilled.

I hope you win something great. I love thanksgiving meals and wish I could have went home for thanksgiving (2500 miles away). I did enjoy our thanksgiving dinner at home though, it was quiet without the fighting and good food!

To a previous poster, I am 52 years old and live alone. My parents are in their 70's and it is my dad and his wife.  They had other company, so, the dining table wasn't empty because I didn't show up!

To the other poster about taking pain meds and not sleeping, I agree with you.  When I take codeine, I can stay awake for days.  I don't believe people who say it puts them out.
