I have been sweeping for about a month, so far I have won a flashlight from HH Greg. I enter about 60 sweeps a day. I have been reading some posts in the forum from members who say they enter 200 to 300 a day. I have looked through countless numbers of sweeps on this site, and I just dont see that many to enter a day, a lot of them I dont enter because they are for things I dont want. I enter daily, one entry, and facebook sweeps. I dont like instant wins because I get tired of seeing the message you are not an instant winner. Waving

I personally enter around 500 a day. I try for lots of things, including things I wouldn't use personally but that I can give as gifts to people. I'm hoping sweeping can take care of my Christmas shopping. I've been sweeping for exactly a year and I have 107 wins that total $2933.09. Most of those wins are from instant wins. Don't forget that the instants usually have a grand prize that you are entered for everytime you play the instant. I've won a blu-ray player, a couple $250 visa gift cards and numerous items I am going to gift at Christmas.

I love sweeping because being a housewife with no kids (just 2 cats and 2 dogs) it makes me feel like I do something to contribute. And my husband loves getting my random "I just won a ..." texts while he's at work.

Keep it up and don't forget the sweepers motto "enter it and forget it"!! Sweeping is fun but also a lot of time and work. Don't get discouraged, just keep sweeping. Give the instants another chance!!

If you have checked daily, one entry and facebook sweeps, and end up with only 60 that interest you, then you are doing what suits you. There is a wide range of sweepers, from  powersweepers who have reasons for entering almost everything, to others who are very selective and only enter a handful of sweeps.

Litray1984 has explained it well, and I'm guessing there are lots of people who are similar. Instants can be discouraging, but when you win, it is fun, even if the prize is small.

Have you tried searching by prize or key word, in addition to the categories you mentioned? You may find some good sweeps that way.

This is the same as me i enter everything and so far most of my xmas shopping is done!!!

 sunny If there are certain prizes that you are wanting, you can always do a search for that prize to bring up a list of sweeps offering that as the prize. I don't enter for everything, but I do enter for things that I can use myself or give away to others. You just have to do what is right for you. There is no right or wrong.
