I've been sweeping about 3 years now. First year I didn't win much. Then at the end of the year I won an XBox360 and a great 7 night stay at any Westin Hotel. The next year I won lots including 1500.00 from a local radio station. Now, my biggest win has been a 100 gift card from Publix grocery store that I entered on here.
I don't have time to enter the daily contests like I use to so now I'm just entering for items I really want or trips that I would like (several people have won great trips and posted about them on SA). I am now concentrating on the instant wins (which are getting harder and harder to win since the economy has tanked) and the one entry per person. I find those are the easiest to win and everyone who enters has the same odds of winning.
A good resource for sweeping is your local TV and radio stations. I went on Google and put in my area (Tampa) radio stations and got a list. I then went to their websites and most of them (especially if they are corporate owned) had a lot of one entry per person types of contests. I have won tickets to plays, 1500.00 cash, CD's, DVD's, and tickets to Busch Gardens and Sea World.
