Well you already have a great beginning by joining SA! Welcome aboard!
To be sure you are using all the "tools" available at SA please read the topics about "tools" at SA and the Hints and Helps.  If you don't already have an auto fill program like Roboform, get one. Your sweeping experience will be greatly enhanced!
 Then all you need is to be persistant, consistant and patient. Best of Luck to You!

Make sure you are saving your sweeps in mysweeps. Especially the one entries. You don't want to get DQ for entering  more than the rules allow. If you just enter one extra time maybe you wont get DQ but why take the chance. Enter the instants for sure.

With the dailies it could take months and months to find out if you have won so don't get discouraged if you haven't won anything the first few months.

Have a email addy for sweeping only. I made the mistake of not doing that and its a big pita.    Check your email often. Spam also. I have had more than a few winning emails go there.  A winning email will usually have the name of the sweep listed and say you are a winner or congrats or something like that. If its all in CAPS and misspelled dont even bother. Its spam.

    Welcome and good luck with your sweeps....I am fairly new with this and still learning all the in's and out's, but one thing I have learned......SA is the greatest site for sweeping........
    Everyone is friendly and very helpful.....   Good luck and hope to see your winning posts soon....  I found the instants to be one of the ways to win a few things each month....Haven't won a hugh sweep yet, but the small wins are fun too.
