I'm a newbie here. I used to use zzz, but I didn't think it was right to have to pay $30 to get the "premium contests". How does this site compare. Are the "premium" sweeps from zzz listed here? Is there a fee for this site? How does this site compare?

Glad to have you join us. I can help to answer some of your questions. 1. SA to my knowledge posts their own sweeps.... SA does not copy anything from zzz let-alone any other sites. They have professionals who search for us and only posts the legit sweeps to enter. You will find that SA has just as many sweeps if not more that zzz listed on a daily basis. 2. No fee for this site... FREE 3. This site compares by: No Drama!! and we have the same sweeps as any other sweeps site.. but the best part is.... IT'S FREEEEEEEEEEEEEE Hope this has helped mz6877.... Good luck onyour entering and hope you win something Grand real soon

The main thing I have noticed about this site is that I actually win over here. If you notice many people who come over suddenly find themselves to be big winners, where they had only been winning a few instants before. I have no idea why this is. From a wins viewpoint, exile is the best thing that ever happened to me!

Hi mz6877 and welcome to the best place on the internet! I have been a member here for years and while I have never seen zzz's 'premium' sweeps I have heard that we have a lot of the very same ones for free. I know that there are some good people over there, but there is also a lot of drama, so I like staying over here and saving my $30.00. I have met some of my best friends on here and I look forward to the time I spend on here everyday!! I hope you have the same feelings for SA before long We are just a bunch of goofballs, so come on and join in the fun!

When I had been gifted with a premium over there and also a member here, I pretty much saw the same exact sweepstakes listed here. Lately, ZZZ has been slipping quite a bit. They are missing more and more and posting some later and later. This site has grown tremendously and has many former members from the other site. That equates to even more sweeps being submitted than ever before. There are also far more features here than over there, and SA doesn't suffer site problems like at ZZZ whenever he does those so-called upgrades!

Welcome to SA mz6877!!! I was there almost 2 years, and was a premium member, and SA has not only the SAME sweeps they hide from the "regular/non-premium" members, but SA has has FAR superior sweeps tools!!! Check out this thread for info on them: How to use the *TOOLS* to get the most out of SA Featureshttp://www.sweepsadvantage.com/smf/how-to-use-the-tools-to-get-the-most-out-of-sa-features-t31956.0.htmlWant to know what tools SA has that makes it the BEST sweeps site on the net??? If you are an old hand at entering sweepstakes online, you will find the transition easier than you imagined, and if you are brand new to entering sweepstakes online, you will find that this thread will help you to quickly and easily understand the tools and how to utilize them to aid you in entering and tracking your sweepstakes entries. SweepsCheck: Mark those sweeps you've entered/decided AGAINST entering. Makes doing end of the month sweeps a snap! Also allows you to quickly see the newest added, as you check back throughout the day, without having to look at the ones you already decided on!!! Remember - click Save my Sweepstakes or refresh the page if you have pop ups allowed at SA, to save. { end of month sweeping is going back and seeing if any of the sweeps that are fixing to end that month were not entered or need entering that had not previously been entered. the end of month sweeps usually have hundreds to 1000's that end at the end of that month and if you have checked sweeps you have entered you only have to skim over those that were not checked to see if any are worth entering.
} My Sweepstakes: A place to keep sweeps you've selected to enter. Just log in, then click | Add to My Sweepstakes | to change it to | Remove from My Sweepstakes | and click Save my Sweepstakes or refresh the page if you have pop ups allowed at SA. Once in My Sweepstakes you can access/utilize the following tools: Broken Link: if you find a mistake [wrong url, etc] or the sweeps ended early, report and it will be quickly updated. Personal Sweepstakes Notes: A place to put notes to a sweeps that only YOU can see!!! PERFECT for anything that is only of importance to YOU!!!Post/View Comment: notes EVERONE can see - we share tips/UPC's/trivia/etc. And let each other know if there is a problem with a sweeps - no more searching to see if it's only you/your comp!!! To get email notifications when a member posts a comment, just Click Watch to change it to UnWatch - no need to search!!! Remind Me: perfect for odd running sweeps like weekly/monthly/qtrly/etc. Used in conjunction with Notes and SweepsCheck it makes keeping track so much easier!!! Expired My Sweepstakes: access those expired listings that you entered. Expired Sweepstakes: access all expired listings. Expiring Soon Sweepstakes: Link is on the Home Page. Lists by date and category all of the listings that will expire in the next 2 weeks. SA has more tools/info to help you sweep: # Free Web Mail # Sweepstakes News # SA Flash Chat # Live help And best of all - SA Forums: Announcements Forum - Where admin reports Breaking news or information. Newbies Forum - tips to get you started and a place to introduce yourself Questions & Answers Forum - where to ask questions to receive timely answers and more tips on sweeping/using programs. I am a newbie too! I considered myself to have started really sweeping six weeks ago. But for two weeks prior to that I did the free membership over there. I won nothing and was confused. I wondered where the big name instant wins were and stumbled upon this site a few weeks later. I am so glad I did I can't believe how much better it is over here. I love it. Thanks by the way, to the people who set this up!!! Also to Amy Shulk. You are so nice and helpful!

I am a newbie also. I have been very impressed by the wins that are reported by those on these forums. How much time each day do you spend entering contests in order to achieve these wins? How many contests per day to most of you average entering? I really was never sure that anyone actually won most of these contests, I am glad to see your posts. Happy sweeping.

I think it really varies.. some enter less than 100 a day and win while others like myself enter 400-500 a day or more. around 500 is all I can do. Some people enter a lot more than that though. Just enter as many as you have time for. I spend a few hours a day. off and on. I cant do it all at once. I might be able to if I stayed out of the forums.

stormvikki welcome to SA!!! We have a thread on that subject here: How much time do you spend entering sweeps/contests?http://www.sweepsadvantage.com/smf/empty-t39859.0.htmlAnd as 3m notes, you can't really tell by what others do - there are just too many variables!!! And if you haven't seen this yet {everyone who has, groan & roll your eyes... NOW, lmao!!!} Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win. If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient. The sweepers credo? Enter and forget it. Always be happy for those that win - even when they win "your" prize - and be positive you will win. Reminding myself of the sweepers credo is how I keep my positive attitude, and my sanity. I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!! I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!! Hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!!

rochelle_p - I spent my first 6 months there in the notes, not really understanding there was info in the forums, but once I discovered them, I also learned you really had to dig for it - it's why I put together a thread to help the newbies that is a sticky over there - I figured why make others work so HARD at understanding how to utilize the site to their best advantage!!! I was no longer wanted there so I came here and received the WARMEST welcome, and was/still am treated with respect for trying to help out (the thanks still tend to throw me since I was mostly igged/derided over there ) so I really DO appreciate you saying so!!!

Yes the atmosphere over there was weird...I was constantly pressured to become a paying member even if I posted about something that had nothing to do with that lol. Boy I saw some of their posts and they could get nasty...I googled them and found some bizarre readings wow. It's so crazy. This is just the best atmosphere over here; so happy and friendly! Thanks again for helping!

You will find the bloggy sweeps sifted out of the new contests if you'd rather not enter them. A lot of people like that feature, and it's built into the listing system here making it easier to get through them. Welcome.
