Ok ok not what you think lol.
I'm going to be a foster mommy. Alot of you knew I have been trying to get licensed. I finally found out what happen with the whole lead issue. It wasn't my fault. IT was the fact that I didn't own that house. The lead people wanted my landlord to fix it. And they didn't tell us that.
Well we moved into a new house. The house was built before the 60s. So there might be lead paint in here. But the lead inspector, said that alot of foster homes have a little bit of lead paint. As long as its not chipping or anything, we should be fine. Which my old house had lots of chipping paint around the outside, and some in the inside. This house has none.
So I called the agency I went through before. They are going to send us fingerprints papers agian. We have to do that, and then we can do the home inspection/lead inspection. After that we just have to update some of the paperwork, and whatever else. We don't have to do the classes agian, because we already did them. I'm so glad we already went through alot of the process.
The only thing I'm bummed about is The health department is charging $50 now for home inspections, and fingerprinting is $50 for rocky and I. So thats $100. But oh well. I do have it. Thank God!! WE had two big garage sales, so the first sat I made $100, and the next sat I made $120. Smile So that will help alot.

WE are going to foster 0 to 1 year olds. I can't wait. So happy. I've been wanting to do this for 3 years now. I told my parents we are starting this process agian. My mom was kind of disappointed at first. But now shes ok with the idea.

Well just thought I would let you guys know what was going on with me. I'm still real busy with the new house. Can't find kaileys camera, so I will take pictures when I find it. lol.
Thanks for letting me rambled!  sunny

That is great! My friend Jen used to foster. Most of the little kids are awaiting adoption and are not going to be "in the system" forever like older fosters (my roommate ended up trapped in the system his whole childhood, terriable place to be)
Formula can be a bit iffy,in Jen's experience.... a lot of foster kids have very touchy stomachs because of all the stress of being moved around.

So today I talked to the licensing lady. She said she is still waiting for my name to clear. They had to do the fingerprinting twice. But those didn't work, because I have wierd fingerprints. So then they are searching my name.
I asked her if there was anything I could do while I wait. I said waiting is so boring. She said it won't be long.
I said, well how long do you think it will be? Approximate......

She said,
"After your background check clears....... 30 days!"   I was like sputtering. What what. Thats fast. She said we already did all the stuff, most of the paperwork is finished because of last time. So the rest can be done in those 30 days.
I couldn't believe it. That is fast. I was thinking like 5 months or so.
So now I gotta baby proof the house. Figure out where im going to put the crib. I'm so excited. yay!!!!  cheers
