I was working in Washington, DC that day.  I was nine months pregnant with my son.  I was trapped on a metro bus for four hours trying to get out of the city.  I was so scared.

I believe the people in the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania are the biggest heros.  That plane was headed to DC, and my unborn son and I were in the vincity of the white house and capitol bldg.

I'll never forget that day.  I am one of the lucky ones.  I am one of the most grateful ones.

God Bless America and all of those who lost their lives!

NEVER FORGET!

Oh Janet,

I can't even imagine what you went through on that day ~ not only phyically, but mentally as well.  You must not have had a lot of infomation either ~ how scary!!

I am so glad that you and the baby are okay and that you can join us here on SA!!

Thanks for sharing your story with us.  I have heard a few first hand stories, but being in Kentucky, we are away from most of that.  That is how come I always take the time to watch the footage and the special programs and MOST especially talk to my kids.  I don't want any of us to get complacent about 9-11.  I am the same way about the concentration camps.  Somethings are to important to forget!!!
