What is the problem(s) associated with this rejection on entry forms? At first, I thought it was entries I had made that were one-time entries, but now it seems more than that.

Hi saraclare1,

This is hard to answer without more details.

Here are a few things I can think of ~

~~Occasionally, a sweeps will say that it does not accept certain emails, like hotmail or yahoo, for example. This is an exception, and not the usual case.

~~Did you double check your email address? If you are using a form filler, or copying and pasting, make sure you don't have anything like an extra space or extra "."

Hopefully other people will add their ideas and you will figure it out.

Thanks, artupp3

It has happened on a couple contests lately. I have a gmail I use for contests. It has been rejected by contests that say daily entry. The email appears correct without extra dots or the like. Not sure what it is. Any input is appreciated.

Don't know if this is helpful, but if it only happened in a few cases, you could take a look at the rules for those sweeps/contests, and see if they mention any email restrictions.

Will do. Thanks. P.S. Someone has told me to try using a different browser too. Going to do that here shortly.

Interesting. Using IE, without autofill, I completed one of the entries with no problem.

Okay. One worked with IE but the other site did not. So, I am thinking the reasons are different. For one, it was the autofill....I believe.

Glad you have a partial solution.

Sometimes, when you have a problem using autofill,  you can try using autofill, then tabbing through the entry form anyway.

I tried everything to get it to work on Googlechrome...tabbing through....you name it! I guess I had to go and manually turn the autofill off (on some Googlechrome tools or something). It was automatic and I would not- not use it without turning it off somewhere else.

saraclare1 - I've found that when I post I'm having a problem to the comments under a sweeps that THEN others will post they too have problems, or they did, and how they resolved it, so try posting there too.

As to issues with sweeps forms, there are many reasons for them:

It *could* be that you have a popup blocker that blocks it, or Maybe you should update?

IW/FLASH/resource intensive Sweeps not working? Try this:
http://www.sweepstakesplus.com/smf/iwflashresource-intensive-sweeps-not-working-try-this-t17404.0.html

or try compatbility view

Or ALLOW: If it STILL won't work? Put the pesky site in your allowed:

At the top, click on>TOOLS>INTERNET OPTIONS>SECURITY>TRUSTED SITES>Click on sites button, then type or C&P the site address in add this Web site to the zone then click ok/apply.
